The design of horizontal axis wind turbines (HAWTs) in Uzbekistan involves several key considerations. Conducting a thorough wind resource assessment helps determine the potential for energy production and select suitable turbine designs. Factors such as site selection, turbine technology, grid integration, and environmental impact assessment play important roles in maximizing energy capture and minimizing negative effects. Structural design, mechanical supply, and local manufacturing contribute to the reliability and cost-effectiveness of wind turbines. Monitoring and control systems enhance performance and maintenance support. Achieving high capacity factors, optimizing turbine layouts to minimize wake effects, and integrating advanced control systems are crucial. Grid integration, power quality, cold climate considerations, maintenance accessibility, and end-of-life planning are key aspects to address. Additionally, exploring hybrid energy systems and promoting research and development activities further contribute to the advancement of wind energy in Uzbekistan.

Higher heritability coupled with high genetic advance was recorded for biological yield per plant, grain yield per plant, indicating that these characters are governed by additive gene action and hence direct selection for these traits will increase grain yield through genetic improvement in wheat. Significant positive correlation was observed for grain yield/plant with biological yield/plant, harvest index, spike length, spike weight, number of grains per spike, number of tillers per plant. Hence, selection for these characters may be utilized for the improvement of grain yield. The cluster II has plant height and peduncle lengths, cluster III spike length, cluster IV days to 50% heading and days to 50% flowering, cluster VI number of tillers per plant, spike weight, 1000 seed weight, biological yield per plant grain yield per plant, grains filling period and days to maturity and cluster VII number of grains per spike and harvest index, cluster VIII flag leaf areas and spike weight. The genotypes from clusters VI and IV, cluster VIII and III, cluster VIII and VII, cluster VII and V are used for crossing.

A large body of evidence suggests that limited or no access to infrastructure at the household level unpleasantly affects individuals' health and well-being and good access to household infrastructure determines the health and prosperity of a household. In many cities of developing countries, there is infrastructure deficit at the household level and Ogbomoso is not left out.This study examined households' resilience to infrastructure deficit in Ogbomoso, a city with varying developmental zones, each of which is characterised with varying levels of infrastructure at the household level. The study concluded that the level of households' resilience to infrastructure deficit which is influenced by socioeconomic characteristics of households and the level and impact of infrastructure deficit increases as distance increases from the core developmental zone to the suburban zone.

Some areas in science are manifested by widely accepted conceptions which are understood not enough deeply or even wrong. Author calls such concepts "perpetuum mobiles of the third kind". Periodontal disease has a high prevalence in many countries. This book on Northern Kenya's Petroleum and Geothermal Resources Prospectivity involves a synoptic overview of geological implications, tectonic features, and subsurface stratigraphical studies of the great East African Rift System (EARS), where recent plays and geothermal manifestations have been discovered. Tectonism was brought out by continental rifting as a part of the major Gondwanaland breakup in the Late Paleozoic time, and continued in the Mesozoic and Tertiary. This movement was accompanied by a stupendous outpouring of the lava flows within several horst- and graben- like structural systems caused by extensional rifting, block faulting and subsidence, resulting in favourable petroleum and geothermal zones. This comprehensive overview of applied geology underscores the importance of essential skills required for geoscientists to unravel these vital energy resources in Kenya's EARS.

Patients with fixed orthodontic appliances tend to exhibit signs of gingivitis and gingival enlargement with false pockets. Significantly higher occurrence of Treponema denticola and Tannerella forsythensis in adult patients with gingivitis and an attached fixed orthodontic appliance has been reported in the literature. Periodontal pathogens represent a significant risk not only for the periodontal disease but also for the patient's general health. Orthodontic anomalies and their treatment with a fixed orthodontic appliance create favourable conditions for colonisation of sub gingival plaque with periodontal pathogens and their following invasion into the cells. Hence the present study is aimed at identifying the red complex organisms, namely Porphyromonas gingivalis, Tannerella forsythensis and Treponema denticola in the plaque samples collected from pseudo pockets of subjects undergoing fixed orthodontic therapy. The organisms were identified using real time PCR.

The consumer market today has become increasingly diverse; hence attracting customers and retaining them has become very crucial for their success. As a result of this, retailers have adopted visual merchandising tools and techniques to differentiate themselves from the rest of the retailers in the market to attract and retain a huge customer base that is most likely to buy on impulse. The primary objective of this study was to examine the relationship between visual merchandising dimensions and consumer impulse buying behavior in the retail industry of Nepal. The study area for this research was the retail stores of malls in Kathmandu city; Labim mall and Eyeplex Mall in particular, and the data were collected from respondents through a questionnaire survey method. It is hence, concluded that consumer impulse buying is significantly impacted by product display, form/ mannequin display and promotional signage. As impulse buying has now been perceived as a common behavior, thus retailers should take the opportunity and benefit themselves from the use of different visual merchandising elements which is often termed as 'an art of silent selling'.

Indian bean (Lablab purpureus L.) is a sweet, bushy semi-erect herb belongs to family Fabaceae with 2n = 22 chromosomes. It is commonly known as Field bean, Hyacinth bean, Dolichos bean, Egyptian bean, Bonavist bean, Sem etc. while locally known as 'Papadi'. It is predominantly a self-pollinated crop. Biofertilizers play an important role in increasing availability of nitrogen and phosphorus. They increase the biological fixation of atmospheric nitrogen and enhance phosphorus availability to the crop. The seeds treated with bacterial culture of Rhizobium increase nodulation and influence yield as well as economize the input cost of fertilizer to some extent. Evaluation of the role of biofertilizers including Rhizobium and PSB to harness their effect in enhancing crop yields will be a challenging task.

Climate change is a global emergency and one of the main environmental concern for the world. Increase in temperature and humidity are the main characteristics of global warming. Many cities in India are affected by increase in heat. The aim of the research was To study the impact of climate change on employee`s performance in Government offices in Nagpur city. A sample size was 100 Government employees and Purposive random samplings were done to select the subject. Data was collected from the sample by using pre-coded interview schedule. For experimental data collection following instruments were used such as: -Thermohygrometer, Lux meter, Noise level meter to measure environmental conditions. The data show that 41-50 years of age group were most impact by climate change. 47% respondents were graduate. 83% of the respondents were having permanent job. 37% respondents work productivity was impacted when they worked in hot climate. 67% respondents were agree that there were advantages of working in cold climate for increasing employee`s performance. 55% respondents felt cold climate suitable for work performance

The role and influence of English today are gaining a higher speed in the world and Uzbekistan. The main factors for this phenomenon include expanding communication with the world after gaining independence and increasing the speed and scope of information exchange in the global village. The dominant position in the internet space by the language of the published content is firmly held by English, which is a strong motivation to learn English for those who wish to promote their global competencies. As it was mentioned since the Declaration of Independence the importance of the English language has been increasing in all aspects of Uzbek people's life. At present, reforms in the sphere of higher education in the country are being carried out under the leadership of the President. In wireless sensor networks, each device is able to monitor its environment and send the collected information via a wireless connection. However, to monitor the critical infrastructure, critical messages must be transmitted with minimal delay to deal with failures that may occur. In order to allow this monitoring, the use of the 802.15.4 standard becomes limited. Thus, in 2013, the IEEE organization proposed the new version IEEE 802.15.4k. This amendment proposes new priority channel access mechanisms, namely CSMA/CA with PCA backoff and ALOHA PCA. To evaluate the performance of this amendment, we have modeled its two mechanisms by a Markov chain. The resolution of the systems induced by our models, allowed us to calculate some performance metrics. Non ideal and ideal channel, saturated and non-saturated traffic conditions are considered. In addition, the effect of varying some parameters on our performance metrics is proposed. The results obtained are satisfactory, because the size of the data packets and network size are the most important parameters in industrial applications, especially in critical infrastructure monitoring systems. By varying them, good results are observed.

The present experimental study was conducted to evaluate the effect of methanolic extract of stem bark of Neolamarckia cadamba against streptozotocin-induced diabetes in wistar rats. The % extractability and qualitative phytochemical analysis of the Neolamarckia cadamba methanolic extract of stem bark were conducted while studying its anti-diabetic potential. The phytochemical analysis revealed the existence of active constituents, it was found that the presence of flavonoids, alkaloids, proteins, amino acids, carbohydrates, saponins, phytosterols, resins, tannins, glycosides, and phenolic compounds and the extractability percentage was obtained to be 13.40%. GC-MS analysis report revealed the presence of a total 31 bioactive compounds. hexadecanoic acid ethyl ester, octadecanoic acid ethyl ester, n-hexadecanoic, pentadecanoic acid, -Sitosterol, and β-Sitosterol acid are pharmacologically important phytoconstituents in Neolamarckia cadamba extract. The serum biochemical, haematological and histopathological changes in the pancreas, liver, and kidney were among the parameters used to evaluate the anti-diabetic effects of the methanolic extract of Neolamarckia cadamba stem bark.

Since independence, conflict scholars have argued that the previous Kenyan Government and by Extension Uganda, Sudan, The Southern Sudan and Ethiopia has ignored The north-western region of Kenya both politically and economically by the rest of the country. Characterized by droughts, starvations, ethnic conflicts and cattle raids, this territory is seen by the Kenyan government as a marginalized area, a space in "crisis" where violence has finally become commonplace. Almost every week, the national media reports increasingly frequent and intense conflicts: The Turkana pastoralists in Kenya are regularly attacked by the inhabitants in West Pokot and vice versa, Ethiopian pastoralists, in raids around the water points of the region, The Karamojong without proper redress. The environmental, socio-economic and historical context is crucial in the understanding of the emergence of such conflicts (I). Moreover, these conflicts are systematically described as ethnic conflicts for the control of water points, and fight for water a view which simplifies reality.

Batı bölgelerimizde ise Kültür sığır ırkları ile entansif yetiştiricilik yapılmaktadır. Kitapta bölgelere göre yerli sığır ırkları ve bu ırkların özellikleri detaylı olarak açıklanmıştır. The experiment was conducted at the Misamfu Aquaculture Research Station in Kasama, Zambia. Fifteen (15) concrete tanks measuring 2 m2 each were used. There were four (4) treatments: Diet + Rosemary (DR), Diet + Garlic (DG), Diet + Turmeric (DT), and Diet with no additives (control) were fed to tilapia, Oreochromis machrochir, and each treatment was replicated three times. The final mean weight, weight gain, and SGR of juveniles of O. machrochir fed on different diets ranged from 24.25 0.10g to 27.88 0.2g, 16.95 0.22g to 20.44 0.4g, and 2.00 0.21% per day to 2.2 0.11% per day, respectively. Lower final mean weight, weight gain and SGR were recorded in treatment where O. machrochir was fed on a diet without any feed additives, which differed significantly from diets supplemented with rosemary, garlic, and turmeric, which did not differ from each other. There was no significant difference in the FCR of O. machrochir fed on Diet + Rosemary, Diet + Garlic, and Diet + Turmeric.

The robotic arm is used for multiple industrial applications, from welding, material handling, and thermal spraying, to painting and drilling. The present book consists of four conference papers written by a single author or published due to cooperation with his co-workers and colleagues. Themes of the first two papers are selected on lateritic rook weathering of crystalline rocks and the next two papers are complementary processes covering sedimentation and tectonics of sedimentary cover developed during Phanerozoic times separately either over the Nubian shield in southern Egypt or in the Rifted edge of the Arabia shield at Saudi Arabia. Their importance is what they offer for researchers in the field of sedimentology and because of their novelty and models that can be followed in other research in many other regions of the world.
