In ihrer viel beachteten Trilogie Durch die Augen der Maria Magdalena deutet Estelle Isaacson eine Verbindung zwischen Magdalena und Repanse de Schoye an, welche neun Jahrhunderte später in der Gralsfamilie lebte. Repanse de Schoye war die Schwester von Anfortas, dem verwundeten Gralskönig, den die Vom-Himmel-fallende-Lanze getroffen hatte, die traditionsgemäss dieselbe ist, die auch die Seite Jesu durchstiess. Der Kelch, der das aus der Wunde herausströmende Blut auffing, soll der Heilige Gral gewesen sein, der später im Besitz von Repanse de Schoye ist-und ihre Rolle als Gralsträgerin von Monsalvat begründet. Als die Visionen von Magdalena aufhörten, begann ein neuer Zyklus von Repanse de Schoye und der Gralsfamilie. Auch erfahren wir die Geschichte des Ritter-Gärtners. In Teil VI kehrt Parzival zur Gralsburg zurück, Anfortas kann endlich geheilt werden, und dessen Halbbruder Feirefiz heiratet Repanse. Das Buch endet mit Mitteilungen über die Jünger der Nacht und die Blutige Lanze, die Macht völliger Machtlosigkeit und die zukünftige Zeitepoche von Philadelphia.
