The Word of God says that the rewards for the prophets, saints (meaning the church), and those that fear God will be given after the sound of the seventh and last trumpet--which sounds, in the book of Revelation, after the kingdoms of this world (or the kingdoms of Satan) become the kingdoms of God. Then Christ will begin to reign on the earth, and it says that time is when the wrath of God (which is not for the church) will come to destroy those that destroyed the earth (Revelation 11:15-18 KJV). So rewards for the church, according to the Word of God, are not going to be given in heaven for seven years prior to Jesus's return but on the earth when Jesus comes back.Jesus said that He will bring His rewards with Him when He comes to reward every man according to His work shall be (Revelation 22:12 KJV).That is when the last trumpet will be sounded at Revelation 11:15-18 (KJV), which is the same trumpet for the resurrection according to 1 Corinthians 15:52 (KJV). So since it says that the resurrection (and or the rapture) of the church will be at the sound of the last trumpet that sounds in the Word of God, rewards cannot and will not be given before Jesus comes to the earth and begins to reign. Therefore, prepare yourself and your family to go through the great tribulation.Hence, the title of the book--the Great Deception.

Poetry has a way of getting one to thinking, maybe ponder a bit. Sometimes it can find a way for someone to reflect into his or her life, like "Moving On" or "Our Greatest Gift."Poetry can also be serene, sentimental, enlightening, or just plain pleasing to read. It can also let someone see the same words differently and mean something else to him or her. That's the power of poetry!Enjoy your read, and let your mind wander.

Musings is an extensive anthology of poems written by the author over a period of some forty years. Now, the collection is recast anew. In this new volume, the author invites the reader to join him on a journey of times, places, and scenes, both real and imaginary. This is the author's invitation as the book opens.Like many of the drawings and paintings that the author crafted, the verses are often images of light, shadow, colors, sprawling meadows, ever-shifting meters, and phrases now hurrying, now pausing as the reader moves along through the lines and stanzas. The reader may find themselves at the Siege of Troy or watching the Merlin of Britain casting his dragon magic. The verses may place the reader with the author in an ancient graveyard, scanning the inscriptions engraved on headstones of granite; standing below a sky full of scudding clouds; or smelling the soft scent of spring rain wafting by. Or maybe the song of a bubbling brook might tease their ears. The reader might even sit with their back pressed against an ancient oak tree, seeking to understand what old Mister Oak might say if he could speak a phrase or two. Maybe the scene will shift to the carnage of an ancient battle where there was no real victory.Through it all, the collection invites the reader to come to know and sense the emotions, images, dreams, and so much more of the author, maybe wonder at a silver moon sailing upon an ebony sky. Frank once said, "Many of these lines came dancing from my pen as I sat and wrote these verses. They seemed to come from nowhere."Once, a reader asked the author, "Are you a poet?"Frank replied with some hesitation, "I'm not sure. I'm just a writer of stories, which come stealing into my mind. That's who I think I am."Come visit with the author and explore his poems in Musings, and you can decide who the author may truly be.

Are you aware of yourself and what you're made of as a human being? Are you conscious of your inner strength and capabilities? Do you know the reason why you were born on earth at a certain period and place? Are you aware of your journey and purpose in life? Have you ever questioned yourself about the existence of a living God? If yes, do you completely believe (without a doubt) in him?People like us arbitrarily question God for any trials that come our way. "Why me? Why not others?" are the usual words we utter when faced with misfortunes, and, more often than not, we blame ourselves, regardless. We feel powerless, inadequate, and helpless. We forget that we are our very own weapon against anything that causes us to hunker down. We are made to be strong and powerful. We are a masterpiece of our loving Creator. We were created in his own image, in his own power! This is a powerful true story about a little girl who got stuck in a more than dreadful situation that was out of control and beyond resolution. A compelling story of unrelenting faith and incontestable belief in the Higher Power. Her (mis)adventures built her up to be a woman of strength, inconceivable resilience, unwavering hope, strong determination, and a firm belief in God, whom she fondly calls her heavenly Father.

My Journey Into Madness: A Travelogue is a stream-of-consciousness story about one man's journey to find a purpose in his life. It is an irreverent, bizarre, and sometimes thought-provoking look at the world through the narrator's eyes, as he navigates through the real and imaginary worlds inside of his mind. Two other short stories are included, bordering on the supernatural occurrences in the lives of their characters. Lead Us Not Into Temptation revolves around one man's possible infidelity and the costs of his possible transgression. Hope Remained is a spin on the Pandora myth, about a writer who deals with supernatural forces for help in creating the next great American novel.

Looking at Lyphe Differently is about a kid named Philthe growing up in the scandalous streets of Kansas City. Philthe would have to deal with the struggles of life. Growing up not knowing who his father was. Living in low-income housing projects with no stability. Having to always move from place to place so much that he couldn't get comfortable with the thought of keeping friends. Finding out at a young age that people will come in and out of your life for a season or for a reason. Dealing with mental health issues that doctors or people really didn't put on a person as much as going around today. If an issue arose in that era, you kept it to yourself and tried to put it behind you or figured it out without popping a pill. Some would say that a pill will solve all your problems. The result of that is that one pill was to solve your dilemma but brought about several issues along with the original. Then there was the gang and crack era. This divided what was left of the community and broke down homes more than government assistance. Ninety percent of the town were on drugs and having drug babies. Kids grew up with dependence, not knowing why they acted the way that they did. Color rags wrapped around human bodies, claiming areas that they will never own. Life, in general, was misconstrued. Everyone was dealt a ghetto dream. It was handing out false love, no unity, heartache, and death by the number of stars in the sky that one could count on a clear night. What it loved the most was giving away fool's gold. A fake reality within a single grasp, but just a mirage once you think you obtained it. The ones that you would chase to the end of the rainbow for the pot of gold and the leprechaun, just to get reeled into a stool full of crap that never flushes. It turns boys into delinquents and bastards. Girls into sack chasers and gold diggers. The blueprint of life was changing. Bullying was always a part of life for most kids, but with Philthe, he had his hands full of it. Most people will experience death once in a lifetime for their selves and will encounter many others throughout their time on earth. You are born to live and live to die. You will either complete your mission on earth or will be someone else's wake-up call. There are one of three places that you will go after your soul leaves your body: up to the sky, down underground, or you were destined to walk the earth until you completed the task you agreed upon before touching the soil of the earth. Some would say that a child has been here before by certain actions which they would present that only an experienced person would know about. Some would search for their purpose in life. Some would stumble upon it, and others will never know. Some are visionaries that can see their or others' paths. There are also some that turn their heads to the thoughts of knowing what's to come. We all have choices in life. Some are temporary. Some are permanent. Some are good. Some are bad. You just have to live with the direction you choose!

It has been twenty-five years since the end of what has become known as the Great War. A time of peace and prosperity has reigned in the land of Kashin with past events becoming mere myths and legends in the minds of most with the passing of the years, wanting nothing more but to forget the horrors of war. Peace, however, never lasts forever. A humanoid army led by Kareen, the half-orc, seizes control of a newly built fortress in the north, threatening to unleash an ancient evil long feared by the elfin people.A group of young would-be adventurers sets out seeking to make a name for themselves, unaware of the special lineage they possess that will draw them deep into the coming conflict, changing them and their lives forever. The fate of an entire country, it seems, may very well rest on their very shoulders when they discover the identity of the true villain behind it all, while Lord Silverwolf attempts to regain his fallen castle. Evil, it seems, does not accept defeat but, instead, hides in the shadows, lurking. It bides its time, growing stronger as it waits for its next opportunity to strike, seeking to finish what it failed to achieve decades earlier.

So what do you do? How many times have you been asked this by a complete stranger? My father's standard response was "I herd sheep." He didn't think it was anyone's business. Next they'll want your academic credentials and GPA. It's assumed everyone goes to school to manifest their life. Not so. Education opens your brain so you can think for yourself. Then you're ready to start the real project. You, not what you do. I held some crazy ass jobs. Many were in higher ed where I saw the story behind the scenery. The ability to benefit is a guideline for students to see if the cost of a degree correlates to a viable salary. It also measures the candidate's access to resources needed to complete the program. Long story short. That ain't happening. Higher education is big business. The cost of a Bachelor's Degree from Columbia University is $278,754. Occupational Studies navigates pathways that lead us somewhere we never imagined. The twists and turns of my career did in fact shape me, but they're not who I am. Most of the time I spent in higher education exposed me to some shenanigans. The ability to benefit didn't necessarily pertain to a student's success as much as the school's wallet.
