May La Poi is an anthology dedicated to the celebrations of the 1st day of May by the Poets of NLHF. 'Poila May' means 1st of May in Bengali. Hence the name is derived from Bengali by reversing the syllables. The idea is to write Japanese Lanturne poems with a unique mathematical title for each poem. Mathematically calculated 'Titles' are given to each poem. This formula for deriving a unique title for each poem was invented by Noel Lorenz on 30th day of April 2023. Using this formula, two poems can never have the same title. As all men are unique, all poems are unique. Like man, like poem. The first ever 'May La Poi' festival is dedicated to 'Raunak Saluja', the manager of 'Kaerou Ze Japanese Concept Community' for his dedication to the international writing community under Noel Lorenz House of Fiction.Come, let us enjoy the 'May La Poi' festival.

HAIKU Vol.5 is a collection of Haiku and motivational quotes by Noel Lorenz. Haiku is a Japanese form of poetry. I have tried to extract the sweetness of haiku in the 5th volume of this book and still stick to the short-long-short format. In my experience, the English and Japanese use the syllabic count differently. Whatever we write cannot be compared to the real count in Japanese 5-7-5.In this book, I have taken haiku to another level by allowing the free count. This book follows the short-long-short verses format. I have tried my best to stick to all the other rules of haiku.Come to haiku with an open mind and allow it to settle in. Noel Lorenz is a novelist, poet, short story writer, haiku poet, and a motivational speaker. He hails from the City of Joy, Kolkata, India. Dear readers, if you are someone who is drowning in the deepest, and darkest waters of life then this book is for you. One of my favorite quotes by Ernest Hemingway goes like this, "The world breaks everyone and afterward many are strong at the broken places. But those that will not break it kills." I wrote these beautiful expressions when I found myself reaching the bottom of the time in life. We all have different armors, and fight battles in our unique ways. To those who are planning to fall off the cliff, or cut the thread remember you don't have to end it that way. I don't understand your situation, I haven't lived your life, I never will, I was not in your shoes, I don't know your story, someone's simple maybe you're hard, but that doesn't define you. You have a gem gift that others don't. I want my readers to live a soulful life, laugh like crackheads, and love impeccably. Remember that they are not alone, and we will fly together. So, pogihaji maseyo (Don't give up). The book also contains some romantic poems, and other genres. Do explore yourself in the fantasy of words.

All Shades of Blue is my first book. I have always imagined writing a book of poetry, but I didn't know it could ever happen in this lifetime. I have my doubts and fears. I hope this book will find a place in someone's heart as it did mine. We all have our shades of blue. Each emotion we possess is a part of us. It does not need validation from anyone. If you are hurting, cry. If you are feeling happy, laugh and smile. If you are mourning, grieve. If you are falling in love, be in love. Let your emotions run wild. If you feel like giving up, be a fighter. Battle your demons and emerge a warrior. I know it won't be easy. I am still in the middle of it. One day at a time. Take a deep breath and stay alive.
