Band 2 der Kommentierung der Übergangsvorschriften enthält zu den Artikeln 233 bis 237 EGBGB eine umfassende Erläuterung des intertemporalen Sachen-, Familien-, Erb- und Internationalen Privatrechts für das Beitrittsgebiet, welche die Rechtsprechung noch immer beschäftigen. Schwerpunkt des Siebten Teils des EGBGB (Verordnungsermächtigungen/Informationspflichten) bildet die detaillierte und bislang ausführlichste Darstellung des Art. 248 EGBGB, der die Informationspflichten bei der Erbringung von Zahlungsdienstleistungen regelt und damit eine ebenso aktuelle wie unverzichtbare Ergänzung zu den im BGB enthaltenen Vorschriften über die Umsetzung der Zahlungsdiensterichtlinie darstellt.
