Peabody Essex Museum is one of the ten largest museums in the United States by exhibition gallery and endowment size. This is the first title in an ongoing children's book series PEM is developing in collaboration with Six Foot Press.The Yin Yu Tang House is a permanent installation at PEM, open 362 days per year. It is by far one of the most popular objects in the museum's collection and is a unique piece of Chinese cultural heritage. PEM is planning a new exhibition at the YYT House in early spring 2020 to celebrate the publication of this book, including displays of the illustrations, new interpretive and educational programs, and multiple signing and readings with the author, Susan Tan, who lives in Cambridge.
