Ever since I can remember I've always wanted to write stories. I like the idea of escaping to another place, I like caring about fictional characters. I was alone most of my life so you learn to be imaginative so that you can entertain yourself. I love every aspect of the writing process from brainstorming to character designs down to writing the outline. All of it is so interesting to me that I enjoy every form of storytelling from books to video games. Any form of storytelling is precious to me. I hope to create some form of escapism with my books. I like to escape my own life as much as possible so I hope I've done a good job on creating other worlds to travel to at least for a little while.

About the author: I am an optimistic person and like to see good in any circumstances. And I love to learn. I think it is exciting. I love to make people laugh when they are crying and give them a smile when they are sad. That's me.
When not helping my dad train our beautiful horses, my head was buried in books about kids my age. I relished every story of a young person's adventures, struggles and conquests. My heroines' victories ultimately led me to my own. Growing up in a family of very modest means, I joined the military to not only serve my country, but to gain access to the education I knew was, undoubtably, my only way of influencing young minds, like mine had been influenced all those years ago. With a master's degree in education and thirty years as a Language Arts/English teacher, I continued to bury my head in books that would help children reach the greatest potential possible in their young academic lives. To conclude, when my precious granddaughter began her near-impossible situation, I was well-prepared to tackle the adventure, as well as the heartbreaking struggle, knowing the end result would be a great conquest; all because of God's great glory and love/support of family!
"The Broken Window" takes contemporary theology to its inevitable conclusion. Because contemporary theology involves the practices and pretenses of history, the inevitable conclusion is apocalyptic. The mathematician Morris Kline said that, "Science is rationalized fiction, rationalized by mathematics." The Bible says that Jesus Christ is the Logos, the origin and organizer of all rationality. The scientific world we live in is not irrational: It is multi-rational. We thought we understood how Jesus Christ presides over a rational world, but we have no idea how He will choose to preside over a multi-rational world that expresses itself more and more in irrational terms. It's time to begin to understand.
The Blackbird and the Rainbow is written from the heart and is a frank open and honest account of what it is like to lose a child from drug addiction. My experiences are directly relevant to the contents of the book. I write in detail about the dreadful day I received the phone call every parent dreads, the intensity and madness of the bereavement period that followed and I look back honestly at the causes which may have triggered a much-loved child to go off the rails. Although the subject matter is painful, heartbreaking, and ultimately tragic it is not depressing and is written with humour and positivity. I hope to help anyone who has lost a child and those who live with the constant fear of future loss as a beloved child slips through the safety net of society and is sinking below the waterline. It is also for any menopausal woman who grieves for the beautiful girl who still lives within them and for isolated people who don't fit into a neat little stereotype. Every cell in my body compelled me to write this book.
