Lizla, the Daughter of Isis, is a psychic princess whom we see evolving through her coming of age experiences which are both mystical and human - describing her own awakening in the flesh and in the Spirit. The novel is set in the ancient history of the Middle East and projects in to it many timeless issues of spiritual awakening, budding romance, political intrigue and coming of age in difficult - if not chaotic circumstances. It is not a coincidence that this geographic area seems to sustain the same conflicts today, even if many of the cultural parameters have changed. Here is a comment from a professional reviewer of the first edition of this book: "Although the story line follows Princess Lizla as she enters into her study of the mysteries, there is more focus on her lessons than on the activities of her life. Delving into the energies of the chakras, the powers of the gods, and the value of self-awareness, Nirupa provides valuable insights for personal journeys of discovery and understanding. While this is a fictional account of the ancient Egyptian civilization, Nirupa does a wonderful job of explaining how such diverse cultural and religious backgrounds might have come together to create a thriving empire that survived a millennia. Reading this book is not a process of immersing oneself in the identity of a fictional character. Instead, it is an act of introspection, reflection, and meditation that can enhance one's immersion in oneself." Wendy Strain for USD Review of Book.
This book was writing to expose who the Democrats really are behind closed doors, from their very inception until now? and to alert my readers to be aware of their progressive hidden agenda to covertly turn our nation to a Marxist-Socialist kingdom, where anarchy and Chaos reigns? Democrats are secretly and unknowingly being used by the end time Satanic spirit of Wokeism-in order to bring about a state of Socialism and lawlessness; whereby one man, the anti-Christ, can control the world when He gradually and suddenly appears, offering peace? Read this book with an open mind that will adhere to and grasp-ahold of Truth like a bulldog would a bone. I pray you'll judge every man and political party, "Not by the color of one's individual skin; but by the contents of one's character."

When Corey Darrow's body was dragged from the canal where she had drowned in her truck, her hand was still clutching a cocked .357 Magnum. She had come to Eddie for help, a black Irish beauty who was being harassed for raising the ecological flag in the rich dark ooze of Okee County-land of sugarcane, migrant worker, neo-colonialists, and rattle snakes as big a your thigh. A botanist had disappeared after making enquiries at Corey's water management office. Corey asked too many questions of the wrong people, the menacing phone calls began, and she suspected she was being followed. Running on regret for not sensing a serious threat, Eddie Priest drove to Okee City to check out how she had died.He was downing Wild Turkey in the Cane Cutter Bar when Corey's double walked in-Sawnie Darrow, a senior aid to the governor. She had the same million dollar voice as her sister, and a dangerous taste for the truth. She didn't care about Eddie's wife, searching for her center in California, or his vaunted football fame. She wanted him to find out if her sister was murdered. This time Eddie couldn't say no.With the help of insurance investigator Raymer Harney, Eddie was heading into a tangle of vested interests, furtive passions, greed, and unleashed mania that could trap the most ingenious hunter. The truth about Corey's death-and the dirty secrets behind it-might be rotting under a rock too deadly to kick over.Of Sterling Watson's Deadly Sweet, Carl Hiaasen said, "It takes a fine writer to get a grip on such a mad place, and Watson does it. His best characters are mangy, menacing, and too true to life. I see them daily on Highway One, and keep a safe distance." Welcome to Sterling Watson's tour de force.
Part novel of suspense, part family drama, The Return follows six characters originally introduced in Roland Merullo's bestselling novel Revere Beach Boulevard. Kirkus Magazine praised Boulevard in a starred review saying, "If Coppola or Scorsese ever repent for their glamorization of the underworld, this is the perfect novel to bring to the big screen." These lives have been sewn together by love, addiction, and deceit. Peter Imbesalacqua is living in Montana in the witness protection program. A former gambling addict, he went deep in debt to a mob figure in his hometown of Revere, Massachusetts, bravely wore a wire at their last meeting, then had to flee. Now he's happily married, with an adopted son, but he longs for his hometown, and especially misses his aging father. Vito Imbesalacqua, Peter's dad, lives alone in the family home, visited occasionally by his daughter and illegitimate son, Alfonse, and tormented by the mistakes he's made and the way they damaged his family. Joanie Imbesalacqua is obsessed with finding the mobster her brother Peter sent into hiding. She believes - correctly, as it turns out - that this evil man will one day return to Revere to seek revenge on her family. Locally famous, secretly gay, Joanie is torn between ambition and family, fury and love. Alfonse Romano is a local police captain, son of Vito, engaged to a woman who fled the Cambodian Holocaust and worried about Joanie, Vito, and Peter. Dutiful, kind, the ultimate straight-arrow, he came of age not knowing the identity of his true father and he and Vito are now rebuilding their relationship. Eddie Crevine was once a mafia captain. When Peter tape-recorded his threats he was forced to leave Revere with his wife, Alicia, and - like Peter - live in hiding under a false name. Vicious, racist, utterly self-centered, Eddie is haunted by what he sees as Peter's betrayal of the codes of their hometown. Thousands of miles apart, very different men, Peter and Eddie decide to return to Revere at the same time, drawing all of the characters into a vortex of violence and grace.
My story started in 2006 after I lost my husband and one month later lost my baby daughter from an overdose of pills. My world was turned upside down, God was the one I leaned on and I was so glad to be part of my late husband's life to lead him to Jesus he got saved on his deathbed. I will tell you I was sad but I did not let it get me down, I went to church and keep my mind on the one who loves me & the one who died for me. I did not lose hope in my future it just took me some time to move on with my life I miss my family. I did cry lots of tears thinking about my daughter and Bud, my late husband. This went on for three years.
