How could a loving parent imagine the death of their only child, let alone by their own hands? As a youth, the Old Testament story of Abraham and Isaac was a troubling one for the author of this modern day version. Why would God make such a strange and terrifying demand, unless he was trying to prepare his people for the coming of his own son? It wasn't until he was a renewed Christian at age 53 that the author was blessed to write this story, which may help explain how these Biblical events could have happened. Told through the eyes of Isaac and his young friends, it is a seldom seen glimpse into a Biblical world which eventually explains all the mysteries of life.More importantly, the author now knows that God sacrificed his one and only son so all of us could become his children. Thank you God for making the ultimate sacrifice for us.

Children's Book about various birds & water life found living around a pond in a rural setting. This is all happening in south Florida. There is an unusual, yet true. ending concerning one of those animals which actually inspired the writing of this book. This story is based on an actual event when an unsuspecting visitor came to our door. Based on this incident I decided to write a story about this most unusual experience. it seemed like quite an opportunity to introduce a whimsical imaginative story that children can relate to from the perspective of nature and what is possible.

A Moment in Time: Thirty Years in the Making is about the evolution of the Georgia Tech Placement Center into the current Georgia Tech Career Services Office. The idea behind this book is to commemorate the past thirty years, 1973-2003, and highlight the changes that have evolved over time within this environment. This book is easy to read, fun and enjoyable. It is about a group of people in one place, and in one occupation. Topics covered in this book are real events, written by real people, illustrating the best practices of the time. I hope that this book will illuminate Career Services as a unique department. The focus of this book is to highlight the many facets of the Placement Center/Career Services operation while incorporating the many historical events that took place during these years, including the manual or technical writing processes (in choosing different types of stylistic choices and/or different types of audiences) used to accomplish these jobs, and the immense technological changes that truly revolutionized the way we conduct business. The design, format, style and idea behind this book were created by me. However, I am not the sole author of this piece. I invited a number of people to contribute their insight to this work as well.
