In the Swordfish Bible Study, Ty Buckle guides the reader to deeper understanding of the Letter of James in context with the entirety of Scripture through the steps of observation, interpretation, and application to engage in a transformative experience of discipleship and learning. The study guide is straightforward in how to mine deeply for the truth in James while helping disciples process Scripture before arriving at any conclusions. The Swordfish Bible Study is flexible for individual or group use. It includes a total of twelve sessions: nine passages of James and three Soul Training Exercises. Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is an autoimmune disorder that affects the central nervous system. The immune system begins attacking the myelin sheath that surrounds nerve fibers, demyelinating them and causing nerve damage to the brain and spinal cord, and this often leaves the body fatigued and unable to perform certain functions. Though this disease is considered a rarity, those who are diagnosed with MS often suffer painful and debilitating symptoms. Renee Lewis was no exception. After being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis at the age of twenty-five, Lewis embarked on arduous journey toward relief. For seventeen years, she worked with doctors, seeking conventional treatment amidst her suffering, but it was not until her last MS exacerbation that she said to God, "I cannot live like this anymore. Show me another way," to which God said, "I cannot heal what you cannot reveal." Lewis quickly began researching alternative medicine, taking a faith-based and holistic approach to healing, and soon, she found herself on the road to overcoming her disease. In Overcoming Multiple Sclerosis, Renee Lewis gives her testimony as an overcomer to encourage others suffering through illnesses of their own. Her Christian background helped her stay grounded in her faith to believe for a miracle despite her lifelong struggle with multiple sclerosis. Above all, she emboldens readers to put their health first and to trust God, as He always knows what's best even when we feel nothing makes sense. Renée S Lewis was born and raised in Bronx, New York. She grew up in a Christian household with both parents and her four sisters. Her Christian background helped her stay grounded to her faith to believe for a miracle despite her lifelong struggle with Multiple Sclerosis. Renée is a loving daughter, sister and auntie. She is also a faithful member of ALCC. Renée is an innovator and self starter of the New Age Laboratory Consultant Company. In 2001, Renée received a BA in Biology. God is always guiding and hears our cries but we have to choose to listen to him. The Foolish Brother Part II is the conclusion of Brother John's journey of teaching and counselling others the requisites for expanding their intellect into the spiritual realm; his new assignment challenged his ability to tactfully address all impieties and laxities in responsibilities that he discovered in his new monastic community. Throughout this sequel, Father john tackled all transgressions with a clear and purposeful goal of rectifying them through specific directives and teachings that inspired his counselees to expand their capacity to rise above their ego's aberrations. His consistent and unwavering expectations and teachings for all to be and do their best, proved fruitful in the restoration of their piety, monastic vows and their spiritual advancement into holiness, humility and love. Even though the setting is a religious community, the numerous teachings and assertions that Father John uses to develop his friars' consciousness and intellectual capacity are equally applicable for any enterprise seeking self-actualization and lasting success, and for the reader who is mindful to the incites of his inner consciousness urging his intellectual expansion into the infinite and unbiased Reality to grasp a taste of The Eternal Life during our transient journey on earth. Life happens to everyone, and the answers to life's questions and the solutions to its problems are often illusive. But no one is exempt from the challenges and adversity that life brings, be it sickness, death, financial struggles, or family discord. What we seem to forget is that adversity is not always an indicator that something is broken and needs to be fixed or that some wrong has been committed, so perhaps, it is our perspective that really needs to change. Garrick Cook's The Struggle IS Real! announces once more that God has not promised that this life will be free of obstacles; there are mountains and valleys on the path to fulfillment and peace, but God has provided us with the tools to traverse all terrains in His name. In his experience, Cook has found that it is better to trust God's providence and follow Him in His way, rather than to try and determine where the path leads before He's ready to show us. Unlike humanity, God always has a plan and a solution, so maybe our focus should be more on trusting His providence rather than trying to anticipate His omniscience. Try as we might, we cannot find joy through the denial of hardships and the quick fix of material possessions and destructive habits. However, God offers us the greatest joy through a covenant with Him that sustains us during this arduous journey. But one thing is for sure, the struggle IS real!
I gave my life to my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ in 2015. I was married to an atheist who wanted nothing to do with God. My entire life was turned upside down. I went on a journey from tragedy to triumph. I learned to trust God even when He didn't answer my prayers the way that I wanted. I saw God's faithfulness in the midst of the pain. I saw God's provision in the midst of lack. This is my testimony of how if you allow God, He can take your brokenness and bitterness and give you beauty for ashes. What Biblical character had a bucket list? Where does God go when He is silent? We have a need to know He is there somewhere on the slippery slope of our faith. FOR NOW, THAT IS ENOUGH tells short stories as varied as the fear of getting a shot as a child or the rewards of saving a war orphan. Sometimes hindsight reveals how something as simple as a mince pie can be at the mercy of religion. In this book you will explore: He is there, even when we feel He is silent. God is revealed in the little things. Seeing really is believing. We tend to miss the subtle messages tucked into our busy days that tell us we are right where God wants us to be. Glenda Emigh has brought to light glimpses of Our Creator in daily living. Until that time when we see Him face to face, we can take the encouragement of knowing For Now, That is Enough. Coding this manuscript is in order; To know God, it takes more than one day. I haven't fully appreciated the significance of having a God-given component in my life until now. To discover something greater than my circumstances was my only hope, and through suffering, I discovered God. I've dealt with so much. There are numerous gods and philosophies created by humans in the world. Indian deities, traditional African deities, and even earlier deities My journey reveals that only the God of the Bible is a responsible, supreme, and undefeated God. None of them are the ultimate true God; rather, they are all lesser gods. Because the world is so planned and unpredictably unpredictable, one wrong move can alter a person's destiny, we all require God in our lives. Consequently, I join under Yeshua, Jesus' Hebrew name. In an effort to lead people to God, the majority of organized religion imposes so many restrictions, including confusion and unnecessary rules, that I, like many others, have a problem with religion. We were instilled with a moral compass in our subconscious minds by God in accordance with his divine right. Therefore, when you violate the law or defy your instincts, you always feel guilty, regardless of who you are. However, over time, exposure and desensitization cause individuals to ignore that judgment in their minds and hearts and to disconnect from the voice of God within them. God does not reside in a church or the world. We only need to identify one need for the creator to realize that God is within us. As we gain experience, we begin to change when we start asking questions. God's existence cannot be refuted by any scientific or non-scientific field of study. In point of fact, experiments and the natural world show that there is a light-like God. They simply do not wish to give him that credit.
Our creator's love for us is real and His desire is for us to know that great love and reciprocate it back to Him. His design was to be a father and have a family to enjoy. Whether you realize it or not, this is the desire of your heart also. Our ultimate need is to be genuinely loved and cared for. This longing will only be satisfied by the creator, the Lord Jesus Christ! Nothing or no one else that was created by Him can fill that deep void within us. He is the only source! Stop looking and searching in all the wrong places. Come home to Him today! Mrs. Penny Ann Sumner has a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Georgia College. God has equipped us with spiritual tools to help us maintain victory in our daily living. Tools in general are designed to help us carry out a particular task or function. Born in the 1950s in Atlanta GA, at Grady Memorial Hospital, I was one of the many "Grady babies" as we were referred to back in the day. I grew up in what is called the Old Fourth Ward in a neighborhood known as "Buttermilk Bottoms". It was called that I learned, because people were so poor that many could not afford fresh milk or "sweet milk". As a child I didn't know we were poor, only remembering the happy go lucky days full of fun, warm springs and hot summers. I attend historical David T. Howard High School, one of the few high schools available to black kids in Atlanta in the 1940's, the first was Booker T. Washington High. Going on to attend and graduate with a BS degree from Georgia State University in the 1970's. G. Bernard Born in the 50s in Newark NJ, but growing up in Youngstown, Ohio; I was the third child of six in a family full of love, and church was a must. I went on to graduate from Cheney high school after which I attended Youngstown State University. I moved to Atlanta, Georgia in the 80's and began a new career in the medical field. It was here that I met my wonderful husband. I believe that God had this planned for me all the while. Bern was looking for me and I was looking for him, and we started this spiritual journey together.
It is truly by God's grace this book came to be. The inspiration for writing these poems was born out of a tragedy-the death of the author's child when she was 20 years old. This collection of poems come from the grieving heart of a mother and span a period of thirteen years. The poems are free-flowing, emotive and inspired by the Holy Spirit. They address issues of grief, faith, creation, prayer, and her own faith. They illustrate there is beauty in the pain and spiritual growth in the struggle. Nora's life journey has taken her through many roads and roles; a soldier in the U.S. Army, a manager, supervisor, director of a ministry, administrator in a church and currently works with a hospice agency as Bereavement Coordinator and chaplain when needed. The theme of this book is to consider the identity of Jesus Christ and His relationship with the Eternal Spirit of God the Father, and with that of the Holy Ghost. How are these tied together? This is a subject of great importance, but there are various misconceptions on some points of this subject. It is the desire of the author that this book will help clarify this relationship. Every individual will experience God according to the way they think; depending on their thoughts, He might not be whom they think. If you don't believe that He exists, then to you, he doesn't. If you believe that He sends sickness, death, and disease to punish and terrorize His children, then to you, He does. If you think He is a healer, deliverer, and provider, He will be so for you. Thoughts produce after their kind and bring forth their results. Is it possible to be so deep in a relationship with God that nothing can disturb your inner peace? Can your feelings be trusted? Does your "thought life" control your dreams, values, and destinies? In God is Not Who You Think, Author Michael Gullatte answers these questions and shares his memoir of pain, trauma, and transformation from his pre-conceived notions of God in this heartfelt and inspirational memoir. Michael Gullatte is the Founder and President of Golden Word Nuggets Media Ministries. He is a graduate of More than Conquerors College. The primary emphasis of his ministry is to transform lives through the correct and accurate knowledge of the Word of God by offering comprehensible teaching with practical instructions. Michael and his wife Tarsha took the principles of the Word of God and started living to make a difference, not to make a living, and realized the living took care of itself. They have shared the good news in multiple countries and experienced myriad supernatural healings and miracles while ministering. They have discovered that true wealth is to have an unending internal peace amid extraordinary circumstances. Michael and Tarsha have three children, Maurice, Miera, and Michael II. goldenwordnuggets.com
