The word "abide" stresses consistency. Most people only really abide in Jesus when the going gets tough. Then when the pressure lets up, they relax and go back to doing their own thing. We cannot claim to abide in Jesus if we only have communion with Him occasionally. Abiding in Jesus involves constant communion with the Lord. The parable of the Sower in Jn. 15:2, 5, and 8 speaks of growth fruit, more fruit, and much fruit. Jn.15:4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. To God be the Glory, My name is Larry Lee, born and raised in New Orleans, La. Started this journey with the Lord at a very young age (8) 1970, not knowing where this journey would take me. Years later 1984, the Lord began to guide me in the direction He would have me go. Searching through prayer and study in God's Word, I discovered I needed a teacher. God led me in 1986 to meet the Founder of Agape Fellowship, Pastor Robert G. Little III, who I asked to teach me in the things of God. He was my Pastor 21 years. While in New Orleans met my beautiful wife Deborah we served 5 years together Preaching, Teaching, and feeding the homeless at the New Orleans Mission. God's hand guilded us through Katrina in 2005 to Austin Tx. Later 2007 the Lord brought to Deliverance Temple Worship Center C. O. G. I. C. Founder/Pastor Supt. Limmie Collins, Firstlady, Prophetist Chriscella Collins. I am inspired to write this book for those who are hungry and hurting, to exhort God's people to PRAY and STUDY SEEK GOD'S FACE.

This book is about How the Lord God is going to bring everything back to us. If you lost something or if the devil stole, it from you or if someone says you can't have it. God says yes you can have it. I started writing years ago first diaries, then the Lord said to write my testimony down and I did and so I have found my niche. God says to write and put it in your book so someone can read it. Maybe it can help someone.
Hebrews 7:5: KJV "And verily they that are of the sons of Levi, who receive the office of the priesthood, have a commandment to take tithes of the people according to the law..." The book of Hebrews yields a crystal-clear admonishment to Hebraic believers of Jesus Christ who were falling back into the practices of the Mosaic Law. It is also one of the most pivotal passages written in the New Covenant, which uncovers the truth concerning the commandment for ancient Israel to pay tithes to the Levitical priesthood according to the law. Hebrew 7:5 details to whom the mandated tithes had to be paid, why, and the qualifying character of the recipients. I welcome you to discover facts supporting the mandate of paying tithes was not written to believers of Jesus Christ of the New Testament. Dirk M. Evans Author, The Tithe Uncovered July 1986, Evans confessed Jesus Christ as Lord! Immediately following his confession, he was baptized in Christ's infinite name. During the first year of his conversion, he embraced his commission for evangelical ministry. Evans began learning and spearheading various outreach efforts, which include street meetings, hospital visitations, and biblical substance abuse counseling, etc. During a period of independent study and consecration, Evans also served in the pastoral function for the residents of Luther Haven Convalescent Facility. October 1, 1995, Evans was officially ordained for Christian ministry. Evans remains a servant of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, independently researching and applying sound biblical truths yielded from solid exegetical, historical, and hermeneutical resources. "I continue in the Savior's grace," says Evans.
The best way to know someone is in the Spirit of the Lord between you. The Spirit is easily entreated and sure to confirm one another's attitudes. Such a relationship confirms the other and never begs for personal attention. A carnal mind is always seeking attention. This begging is not always verbal. It can be noted by its deportment, its desires. Such actions will cause spiritual hunger to be set aside while one's selfish spirit constantly looks for "atta-boys." Apostle Paul found this attitude among the Hebrews when he was teaching them about the risen Christ. He scolded them. Then he outlined several steps to follow to gain Spiritual knowledge that would glorify the Lord. All paths of life seek to improve their standing. Most will follow an educational or trade route to higher education. Hopefully, its reward will strengthen an application for employment. Appropriate classes and other opportunities are chosen. On-the-job training is often sought. These ideals are followed with personal hope as the motivator. The call to Spiritual life and its educational offerings take a back seat to secular opportunities. Many Christians "know the Lord." But often they only major in the basics offered in a sequential sense from weekly Church services. Spiritual progress is stunted by a lack of Spiritual knowledge and its desired application. This author highlights Apostle Paul's teaching about the consequences for a disciple who continues to only drink the milk of the word. Thereby they ignore its meat or deeper revelations. His exhortation to the Hebrew and everyone else harboring a status-quo relationship with Christ is, "Let us go on to perfection!" This call is fulfilled as the disciple answers the upward call in spiritual education. Moving forward step by educational step results in a mature attitude fortified by submission to the obedience required by the offering. Nothing is more satisfying than an education that positions you in obedient submission to the Lord. Selah!
Joy of family life, sharing fun, love and wisdom of Grandpa Frank. Bringing moral stories to an immoral world, hopefully an understanding of God's teachings to give the young knowledge and strength of character. Watching the insipid growth of immorality, the annilation of civilization, through the "new" educational policies, I feel strongly that children must be exposed to truth. My faith inspired the stories of Grandpa Frank. My four children, ten grandchildren, three great grandchildren bring me hope for the future. A lifelong resident of New Jersey, I see the majestic mountains, the sprawling sands of the beach, and I see confusion in the faces of children. Only truth will set them free, The Words of our God.

In this season of change, we need the Lord who is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). God gave Jesus all power in heaven and on earth and Jesus extends His mercy and grace to all that God spoke into existence. Jesus said with Him all things are possible and saints in the service of the Lord need to do their job which is "to further the faith of God's elect and their knowledge of the truth that leads to godliness" (Titus 1:1, NIV)? God commissions us to love one another and teach all He commands. We believe the Lord commands people to live holy, for He said, "Be holy, for I am holy" (1 Peter 1:16). We remind you, "all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ and has given us the Ministry of Reconciliation" (2 Corinthians 5:18, NKJV). As Ambassadors of Christ, we must execute our mission and do our part "to bring all things in heaven and on earth together in Christ" (Ephesians 1:10, ESV). To everyone who calls on the Lord, we call on you to teach and practice decency and order. Each story is different and so is her frame of mind, as she labors over it. At times she may be very serious, romantic, silly, adventurous or extremely sad. Who is she? What day is it? Thus, her title, "Quirky Tales." She is an old writer with a young soul.
In Christ Jesus: A New Living Way is a book about knowing who you are in Christ Jesus. The bible speaks of the "new self" when we find our life in Jesus. When we accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, there is a reset button that allows us to start the new life that Jesus paid for us. All that was old is erased and in Jesus we can take cover in Him knowing He holds our world in His hands. As Jesus is, we are in this world. We have the divine right to live the life God has predestined for us from the very beginning of time and creation. When you find God, you find your true self and the purpose God has for your life. In Jesus, we can live free in His sufficient grace. When we remain in Jesus, we begin to live in authority, strength, and confidence that only He can provide. Reoccurring dreams have plagued me most of my life. Although, many times, these dreams afforded me an escape from reality without me leaving the comfort of my bed. I find therapeutic value here. Later in life I found a cure. After each dream was penned, or should I say purged, relief followed. Born MargaretAnn Silva in 1949 in Huntington Park (Los Angeles) Ca. In those days parents said children should be seen not heard. While growing up she entertained herself conjuring up fictional stories. Her parents were pleased with her quiet demeanor, stating this was the way little ladies should behave.
In my life, there have been many paths of testing and trials. I have walked them all with the belief that God is in control and that Jesus walked them with me. The mountain experiences have been amazing as my strength and beliefs were tempered by the climb. But it was worth every step! My views of what God wanted me to see were life-changing. The valley experiences have been difficult, with many tears and sleepless nights. The burdens are hard to bear, but from the depths of those valleys, God has always been near to give comfort and guidance through deep waters and troubling times. My friend, trust the Lord, whatever path you are on, because in His strength, you can do all that needs to be done! God bless! Being raised in a military family gave me a strong sense of qualities I would need in my life. The times on the Army base and the opportunities I had to be part of a caring and nurturing group left a distinct impression on my older brother and me. My father taught us about duty and honor and the importance they have in your life. Those traits have served me well in my walk with the Lord. It has been a miraculous journey, and I am amazed at God's goodness and grace with every step we took. My prayer for each of you reading this book is to rest in the Lord's loving arms as you walk your long and winding path with Him. Enjoy the views!

With all the different denominations, holidays, doctrines and traditions, it's hard to just know which is the right way. If you believe in God, in His living Word, we are called to a particular, peculiar walk of life. Under the careful, watchful and loving Father, we don't walk this path alone, nor are we left to wonder what is being asked of us. All glory to God! I am a middle child of six kids from a broken home. I am a certified cosmetologist that likes to go hiking with my dogs and anyone that will go with me. I am convicted the message of God needs to be shared! Watching friends and family grow and struggle, I've learned many things, both good and bad. Any which way you look at it, we need God in our lives. I just want to share what I've learned in the hopes it reaches some hearts out there.
Unlike many less fortunate, I was raised by both parents in a Christian faith-based home. As a small child, I worshiped my father. To me, he was the image of perfection. But as I grew, I deeply questioned him because of fearful and severe discipline he levied upon us children for our least fault. In my mid-forties, I finally cut him off from my love until the day he suddenly died. Then, ten years beyond my father's decease, a journey lay most imperatively on me! I still desperately needed to understand, to forgive and possibly love again the only man I could ever call "Father". He was the origin of my being, and with great desire I longed for peace and union with him. To understand what made my father so fearfully harsh, I needed to hear from those who knew him best when he was young. Now that he was gone, I could ask the hard questions. This book is the account of that journey. Rita and her husband Dale have been married fifty-six years and reside in eastern Washington state and have traveled their lifetime in ministry. She is a graduate of Northwest University in Kirkland, Washington with her B.A. in Early Childhood Education. "In Search Of My Father" is her first book. She is presently completing her second, "Whatever Happened To The Family?"... the journey of both of her parents and of her nine siblings.
