Forgiveness is something that everyone experiences in their life, whether it is given or received. It may not always be easy, but, if it is truly meant in the heart, it can offer a sense of freedom like never before. Forgiving plays a major role in the second step of the biblically significant three-step process that Kim Schroeder examines in her book, The Trouble with Forgiveness: A Biblical Perspective. In this brief but spiritually impactful book, Kim defines and explores the nature of forgiveness, highlighting the inaccurate understanding of it by many churches today. She analyzes how forgiveness is applied in the Bible, particularly how it is not required or necessary in some cases, which is contrary to the widely accepted belief of many Christians. Humanity is not perfect, and God knows this, so living according to His will, taking responsibility, and turning away from sins is the best way to reach salvation. The Trouble with Forgiveness: A Biblical Perspective reveals the truth about forgiveness, specifically in the context of the entirety of the Word of God. It is an essential component to understanding the Blood Covenant illustrated in the New Testament. Kim Schroeder hopes to clarify His plan so readers may recognize it easily, understand it completely, and live it wholeheartedly. Kim Schroeder is an author that aims to write pieces in a concise and succinct manner that act as resources for people to understand the fundamental aspects of being a follower of Jesus Christ. She provides an outlet for all those who are searching for the Lord by sharing His Word, with a deep focus on the New Testament. She is a teacher of Blood Covenant Christianity and is a lover of nature, living with her family in rural Colorado. You can find her work and contact her at StubbornTruth.com.

This book captures every season of my life. I am a replica of my past, present, and still have the opportunity to rewrite my future. All that I have been through made me understand I AM HER. The DNA of who I am has made me look at the person in the mirror. I took control of writing my story and refused to give the pen to someone else to write for me. I have forgiven myself and moved to a place of happiness and peace. I know my worth and love me for me. After many hours of analyzing the whole me, I made the conscious decision to look at my life with clarity. The synopsis at the end of each chapter will change your perspective on all that you have encountered and realize you are destined for greater. You are worth every breath you breathe. Dr. La'Vel F. Do you think you know the purpose of the universe, and why it exists? Do you think all of life throughout the cosmos will eventually die a cold, meaningless death? Or, do you think what we see in the "sky above" will somehow endure into eternity while you end up sitting on a heavenly cloud singing hymns into the hereafter? This short, fast paced history sets the record straight about the profound "reality" of our universe's physical and spiritual existence. But even more than that, it will challenge everything you think you know, and especially what you think you believe. Written as a novella, it is a concise account of history: past, present and future. A history that will not leave your understanding of reality the same as when you began. Have you ever wondered why some Christians think they should escape persecution in this world when so many have had to die for their faith in Christ? Just reading Fox's Book Voice of Martyrs reminds us that many people have given their life for the Gospel. This book is about the Great Tribulation of End Times and the Rapture of the Church. We will look at plenty of Biblical evidence that the Church will still be on earth during the Great Tribulation. The Biblical and Historical evidence that the Church is persecuted in the end times by the antichrist and those who follow him are seen in both the words of Jesus and the apostles. Readers need to look at this and prepare their heart and soul to a greater commitment to the Lord than just an escape of Tribulation mentality suggested through a Pre-Tribulation Rapture. As we look at this day's anti-Christian sentiment, we must prepare our heart to stand the test of persecution when it comes. Jesus said that if the world hated Him it would hate us. Since the world crucified Jesus, why do many think that the world would not try to destroy every believer in Christ? Pastor Tony Lineberger has been in ministry for 50 years. He has a BA degree from Gardner Web College in North Carolina and a Master of Divinity degree from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary in Memphis, Tennessee. He is happily married to his only wife of 50 years as of June 9, 2023.
"Vignettes of Valor" is Jerry's third book of combat survivor stories. A fourth book is in the can. My disbelieving English teacher is smiling. Proceeds from Jerry's book sales are donated to PTSD treatment at New Freedom Farm, Buchannon, Virginia-and other veteran causes. A native Virginian, Jerry spent his college days in the Virginia Tech--Corps of Cadets, preparing for active duty as an Army Officer, and Civil Engineering career designing roads and bridges. Yet, the Army Corps of Engineers had other things in mind for Jerry, assigning him to the Public Affairs office with duties as a congressional, media and press officer, where he remained for much of his 38-year career----"Drat! I should have studied more in English class!" Jerry retired as Director of Operations, for the Army Corps, responsible for all Corps' water infrastructure in the US, directing a workforce of 24,000.
This is the story of my life. I wrote this in hope that at least one person would read it who feels like they are hopeless, that God doesn't love them because of what they have done and/or are doing, and in hope that they would relate enough with my story to realize Christ is there with hope and salvation for them. I started out just as normal as anyone else, but things were changing and not always for the better. I suffered physical abuse and retreated into alcohol and drugs and music. Having long term friends did not happen until my teen years and some were just a bad influence. I played music in school bands playing brass instruments such as trumpet, baritone horn, french horn, trombone and even tuba. After school I learned guitar and coupled with my addictions led to playing in heavy metal and punk rock bands. The feeling of having something missing in life was a continual occurrence for me. I landed myself in jail many times and eventually found sobriety. But this didn't solve what was missing. Then came the day when I came to the realization that God is real, still I felt something missing. Years went by then came the day when God decided it was time and guided me to North Valley Baptist Church. I was reborn, redeemed, saved, and baptized the first day there. This is what finally solved my personal mystery of what was missing, which was salvation by grace through faith. Lord Jesus gave me love and a new life. Even a bout with cancer tested my faith but God had a plan. Through the Lord's mercy He gave me Grace Through It All. May all the glory be to God.
One significant thing we have in common is relationships. Whether family, friends, business, academic, religious, or romantic relationships, we all desire to connect with people with whom we can share laughter, friendship, work, caring, and support through the good times and the hard times in life. There are, however, various life dynamics that either hinder or foster the fulfillment of these desires. Examples of these are: Self-esteem Family Upbringing Personal growth and development Our mental, physical, and spiritual well-being. How we experience the love languages How we manage and resolve conflicts (whether we accommodate, abdicate, dictate, or collaborate) Our adaptability to the seasons and stages of life and marriage And much more In this book, I elaborate on these dynamics and how they impact our lives and relationships. I also share practical perspectives and approaches that I've learned from human experiences, the bible, life coaching and counseling materials. Currently residing in the United States, I have been married for fifteen years and a father for eleven years. I am not a professional counselor, but l enjoy learning from them and sharing the health and psychosocial information that has been life-changing for me and countless others. In addition to recently becoming a Health and Fitness Life Coach, Kedine and I co-founded Mission Wholelife Initiative. This endeavor is to improve lives and communities through faith-based initiatives such as Wholistic Health Seminars, Bible G.P.S Family Studies, and Marriage and family Seminars.
The impetus for my multigenerational healing journey began when I slid into a deep depression in 1971 at the age of 32. The inspiration for this book came to me in July 2017 as I was standing with my children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren in Schwabisch-Hall, Germany, at the address where my paternal great-grandparents had lived, and where my paternal grandfather was born and raised. My story is about family roots of my depression and family resources for healing. I unearthed burdens and blessings passed generation to generation in my father's and mother's lineages that were consequential in my life and the lives of my siblings and offspring. I set about revitalizing and reconciling relationships by honoring and activating blessings passed forward, giving voice to those formerly silent, searching the vulnerabilities behind hurtful actions and deprivations, and forgiving, freeing creative love, now, for those who have been, are and will be. Wanting a quieter environment to work on her novel, Mercedes Adler moves to the small town of Pedeaux, Ohio for peace to do research as well as people watch for character inspiration. She is shown a large old house that was built in the mid-1800s and instantly falls in love with it; however, her eagerness to move is short-lived as strange things begin to happen. A pile of bones are found in her basement, a young man she meets is murdered with unknown cause, shadowy figures seem to follow her, and she receives numerous notes and packages from a nameless figure who wants something from her. Who could want something to do with someone who had just moved into town? Mercedes dives into her own research to find out the significance of her home on 100 West Main Street and discovers eerie news through the town's archives. There had been twenty unsolved murders within the past five years in three of the surrounding counties with two of the victims sharing the same surname: Pedosta. With her newfound knowledge, she travels around town and questions the residents to see if she can discover more about the murders. What she did not expect to find out was the surname of the family who had lived in the house before her: Pedosta. The family had left behind a will and an unsolved secret of their own that people would literally kill to find... and have already tried in the past five years. Mercedes takes it upon herself to find more clues as to who the murderer is, but must watch her back if she does not wish to become the next victim. The secret of 100 West Main Street will be revealed in Karen Cook's The House on the Corner. Retired from a management position in the employment/unemployment field with the State of Ohio.
