An English-language guide to walking in the mountains to the north of Madrid, mainly but not exclusively within the National Park of the Sierra de Guadarrama. The book contains descriptions and sketch maps of 32 walks, along with advice as to how to get there, and details of official maps of the area.

The book is intended primarily for the use of hill walkers rather than strollers, although the walks are helpfully graded for difficulty and include some easier ones. Hopefully there will be a choice for everybody.
