Danser med døden er en bog, der bryder med tabuet om døden. Bogen tager os med på en kort rejse med døden som rejseledsager. Bogen følger Solvejgs liv fra at være i fuld vigør og til uhelbredelig syg af cancer, og det sker på et halvt år. På trods af sygdommen er der plads til livfuldhed og nærhed. Bogen er blevet til på baggrund af breve, dagbøger og mails.
