"Mayday! Mayday! We're in trouble up here!" came a desparate voice from space. One million two hundred thousand miles from Earth the MARTIAN THREE rocket to Mars began to break up and fall apart. Jeff Townsend is a successful Black accountant: one of the few in his town. Humble, educated and efficient in his work, he soon becomes bored with the day-to-day of counting funds and often daydreams of an exciting more adventurous way of life. He turns to an elderly Black soothsayer to help him out of his dilemma, only to find that she is way ahead of him and steers him to incredible adventures he could have not forseen!

A crew of five astronauts is sent to Mars, the Red Planet, to discover the whereabouts of an alleged area where diamonds are believed to be hidden. No one has done such a task before. While on their search they are side tracked by loud 'cheeeeeeeee' sounds and oversized footprints as they come in direct contact with the planet's inhabitants: a giant scorpion, giant ant, and giant serpent who seem to be, of all thiungs: guarding the mines.

Ann Thomas is an attractive lawyer and an African American woman. She has inherited a remote farm outside of Atlanta once owned by her grandmother, a former slave. Unknowingly to her, her grandmother was once in a romantic relationship with a well-to-do African man back in the year 1890. But the romance went sour when Ann's grandmother decided to marry someone else. Things were quiet, and through the years the jilted African man had not forgotten Ann's grandmother. Nearly two hundred years later and in current times, he sees Ann's picture in a newspaper outlining 'outstanding lawyers' and he confuses Ann with her grandmother!Suddenly, he wants her back and he is coming after her, two hundred years later with determination to win her again, and this time he would let nothing stand in his way!

Frank Bonner is an escaped con on the run from the law. In Baltimore, Maryland he boards a bus to avoid being captured. He ends up in a small town called 'Homerville' a little town he had never heard of. During a brief layover he meets and becomes friendly with a little old man at a local coffee shop. The little old man offers him $500 in cash if he can stay overnight - alone - in a local house that he himself owned on the edge of town.DESPERATE for money Bonner takes the man up on the bet not knowing that it is a feat no one had done before and come out alive!
