There are many furry concepts in the writing community that are considered almost cliché by now or overused at best. Much of it ends up online in various spots but so much more of it rarely see the light of day in published fiction nowadays. And so, this anthology seeks to both celebrate that tropishness and have fun with it! Some authors might make these cliches super serious and artistic, while others might make fun of them and be more parodic, and with this antho, you'll expect the full gamut to be run a little bit of everywhere. Featuring eight sections (which includes notable trope locations such as the locker room, university, the club, sports, a ranch, the beach, and virtual reality) and twenty-two authors apiece to create a mini-anthology within their respective sections, BoundTales Books presents a kinky, sex-positive, and diverse collection ready to embrace the tropes and have a little fun along the way!
Samantha was always the quiet one. Her friend Isis would take her to the woods out back, and they'd find worlds that existed only in their minds. All of that changes when Elliot moves into Isis's house. It isn't long afterward when Isis comes crying to Sam and tells her a horrifying secret, one that makes them question their friends, their family, their very way of life, and their will to go on.
Are they human, or are they beast? Over the past several decades, the world has seen a new phenomenon on the rise, a group of people identifying as "furries." They have appeared in the news and popular TV shows as adults wearing fursuits and participating in sex parties, but what are they really? This collection of essays on the furry fandom reveals furries through their own eyes, with bestselling novelist Kyell Gold, award-winning artist Rukis, the International Anthropomorphic Research Project, and so many more, covering topics from anthropomorphic art to fursuiting to conventions and the psychology behind furries. Some of the essays are comical and playful, while others are serious and academic. On one paw, this is a work for non-furries to get a glimpse into the anthropomorphic world. On the other, this is a chance for furries to hear from many of their favorite furries celebrities.

There exists an occasional pattern in most furry writing: when writing characters who exist in a world where people have animal characteristics, furry characters tend not to smell the blood in the room, hear a person breathing behind the trees or see in specific colors. In a nutshell, these furry characters were only furry in appearance. And so, editor Thurston Howl (Foxers and Bear-iefs and 12 Days of Yiffmas) issued a challenge to all furry writers: write furry erotica with the core argument of, "[insert sense here] is the sexiest part of furry erotica!" And they rose-in more ways than one-to meet the challenge, culminating in this very book! The opening section, Sight, showcases Kyell Gold and Weasel. While one features a blind protagonist, the other has an explosion of color. The Smell section includes Joel Kreissman and Shoji. One focuses on artificial pheromones to help with gender transitioning, and the other tackles musk play. Touch has Tarl "Voice" Hoch, Kuroko, and Nathanial "LeCount" Edwards showing off their skills, with elements such as arachnids feeling its prey through web vibrations, an s/m scene with lots of textures, and a touch-by-touch fairytale journey in the woods. The Hearing section features Jay Coates with a story about echolocation and Al Song with a bit more musical sex. Taste concludes with Linnea "LiteralGrill" Capps and Patrick D. Lambert. One story tackles the taste of a beaver''s anal glands, and the other looks at oral fixation in a sweaty locker room.Dive in and feel your senses activated!
