Beim Lesen der Gedichte ergibt sich der Eindruck von einer ersehnten Nähe, mehr Freundschaft als Verehrung, ich wäre so glücklich mit Gott allein. Nun, Freund Gott findet Herta Blickling immer wieder in der Natur und nicht in den Gegebenheiten der Gegenwartsmenschen.
