Our present economic priorities have barely changed over the last 300 years despite unprecedented technological advancement. Today the economics scale has become larger, faster and more complicated surpassing the ability for cultural adjustments, opening a societal riff through which the selfish, unabridged have been taking the rewards the free market's invisible hand offers while tossing the essential ethical components aside. The greatest enemies of any economic system have always been greed and power-lust; evils born from personal choices, often by sociopaths who find their way to be leaders of governments, corporations or religious institutions. It's always these individuals who are the villains and not the free market. Eudaimonia is anything expressing its inner nature or composition in its highest state and when economics approach eudaimonia, it will close this riff with the emergence of a second invisible hand that works with the first to redistribute the world's wealth free from regulation. A cultural awakening transcending those who don't wish to share. Economic Eudaimonia will: Move tens to hundreds of billions of dollars from the greedy to the needy; By-pass the corrupt media reports for real and timely news; Expose corruption & reward good choices and people; Reform the stock market; Improve work cultures; Give easy access for help to those in need; Increase sharing of our personal excesses; Provide help to natural disasters; Reduce extreme poverty; Help us embrace our diversity so to accept peace over anger; This not a utopian endeavor. Real models and logical arguments will be presented. For the first time in human development we are at the cusp to grasp and embrace this simple, timely transition towards virtuous freedom, small government and reduced world suffering.

The citizens of Montclair were finally at ease and life returned to normal for this small town. Just as everyone stopped being afraid, a new killer comes to town. This killer is carrying on the family tradition driving semi trucks and taking lives. His father, Chico Chavez Sr., taught him how to drive and how to be a man. One other thing his father taught him was how to kill. The truck stop allows long-haul truckers to come in to rest and refuel. One driver, Chico Chaves Jr. uses the truck stop to capture and kill his victims. Chico Jr. was an only child, and his father abused him severely. Chico Jr. began to ride with his father when he was ten years old. He witnessed his father pick up and kill a prostitute in the sleeper part of his truck. At the age of nineteen Chico Chaves Jr. began driving after his father died suddenly of a heart attack. Chico Jr.'s life mission was simple; to live and be like his father. Now that Chico Jr. was on his own, he decided to carry on the family tradition of driving trucks and killing prostitutes. M. Everett Baylor has a background in law. Coming to the table late for a share of the American pie can lead to a lot of misunderstandings, especially coming from different cultures. Who or what should influence the appropriation of a slice of pie? God or culture? The answer can be funny or heartbreaking when the people involved already come to the table with a set of ideas that are more subjective than objective, but firmly ingrained. Be entertained. I was born on the Island of Guadeloupe (FWI), Immigrated to the US in 1990, lives in Pennsylvania. However, before all I am a disciple of Jesus; everything I do is influenced by that.

My book is titled On Dark Matter and is a collection of seventy-two poems. I have had a couple of poems published here and there and write poetry as a hobby. My poems are to be considered an extension of my thoughts and are meant to stimulate the reader's thought process. They are in no way intended to portray any particular belief system or lack thereof, but rather are for the entertainment of thought! Leon Scarlett was born in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica and currently reside in New Jersey U.S.A. I have been writing poetry for nearly as long as I can remember, but have been doing so only as a hobby. I've had a few poems published and I studied fine arts in college. I view poetry as an art form. The only difference is; instead of using paint, palette-knife and brush, words are used to portray the feeling you wish to express. This is the first book of my anthology. I hope anyone that chooses to read it may enjoy the experience and that my poetry may help your mind become more susceptible to my open process of thought. I hope that you may find my book interesting to say the least! Apart from writing I also enjoy drawing and painting as well as miniature model building too. I am a Father of three and a Grandfather to two amazing grandchildren.

This Too Shall Pass are four words that contain wisdom that has been passed down through the ages. These words were believed to have been written on the inside of a ring worn by King Solomon as a maxim that leads to a happy life lived with a sense of purpose. It is a truth about life that neither the good times or the bad times last forever. When we hold this thought as a core understanding, we can better cope with the challenges of life and cultivate grit and resilience This wisdom is essential navigating the recent challenges of our world, such as the COVID-19 pandemic and the urgent battle for social justice. Understanding human nature, the dynamics of faith, and why we do what we do are keys to living life to the fullest. This book concerns how personal ethics, political ethics, as well as bioethics can help guide us to make decisions that impact us and, ultimately, make a positive impact on the lives of others. "The Reverend Jim Squire's collected writings here are exquisite. They come from the heart, soul, and mind of an experienced and skilled ethicist. He is a teacher, thinker, and sensitive man, as he ponders the many ethical issues facing our world today." -The Reverend Alexander McCurdy, PH.D. Episcopal Priest, Jungian Analyst. Was a visiting lecturer in the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at Jefferson Medical College. "This Too Shall Pass is a collection of lessons and stories that enlightens, engages, and inspires. Rev. Squire leverages his rich foundation in counseling, teaching, and spiritual leadership to speak with a passionate and empathetic voice. He fuses current events, daily encounters, and ethical dilemmas to create a compilation of passages relatable to readers of all backgrounds and beliefs. This Too Shall Pass is my go-to read when I am seeking a conversation with a friend, a helping hand, or an insightful perspective on the everyday experience. Whether read from start to finish, uninterrupted, or one entry at a time, it adds both a thoughtful reflection on the big picture and a renewed appreciation for each of life's individual moments. It is a timeless treasure trove of actionable readings not to be missed." - Christy Rivard Episcopal Academy, '10, Harvard Class Day Speaker, '14, Physician Assistant. In essence this book is about personal ethics, political ethics as well as bioethics to help us to make the right decisions. The Reverend James R. Squire has spent thirty-eight years teaching ethics and biblical studies as the head chaplain at the Episcopal Academy in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He specializes as well in bioethics, faith development, positive psychology, diversity work, and the development of student leaders. He was chair of the Religion Department. After the 9/11 attacks, he created a national conference on "Understanding Islam."

A mystery is to me the one subject that draws you into a good story. It's the nagging question of what will happen next that most people are looking for when reading or watching a mystery show. This is the main reason I wrote this novel, to pull you into another world of murder mystery. This novel starts off at trying to solve your typical murder, but as the story goes on I get away from the typical if you will. I wanted to write something that is not the typical or the usual. I wanted my readers to get away from telling themselves I already know what's going to happen. The main character Hank Keys is to me not your average detective, as your reading you'll see that his methods on solving a case are again not your typical way, but affected. This murder mystery has a lot of twist and surprises and I also put in some personal quotes that I feel that a lot of people can relate to. So some things up I chose to name this novel Seven Sins because each one them relates to every one of my characters as well as all of us. I'm sure you realize that the word obsession is in red, but don't get ahead just yet. You have to read the novel to get what it means.... it's not just your typical word. A little about myself, I'm just your normal average person. Depends on what your definition of normal is. I'm your average man born and raised in Shreveport, Louisiana. I grow up in the country, so I guess you can say I'm a young man with an old soul. I own my own Irrigation business which it is a family business. In my spare time I work out a lot and enjoy anime from time to time. Yes, that may be weird to some but it's my stress reliever. Writing was something I was told to do from my family. Through-out this pandemic I was told to do something I never did before something new. I've always enjoyed a good mystery so I figure I'd try and write one. I don't have a website but I am working on getting one if everything goes well, so fingers crossed.
