As I stand strong before you, I stand with a man who has always been there for me. The man who has strengthened me in ways only He could. The Man who continues to show me His unconditional love. As I stand, this Man gave his only begotten son. As I stand strong before you, I stand with someone who sacrificed everything for me. Someone without hesitation gave his life for me and my sins. Someone who was stretched wide, nailed to a cross, abused, misused, abandoned, and betrayed. Still like the dawn He rose. He rose and He gave what no one could give another, his Spirit. As I stand strong before you, I stand with a feeling of confidence. A confidence which has been embedded in me from the very start. The gift of Jesus. It is the Holy Spirit. I stand in love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, gentleness, goodness, faithfulness, and self-control. So, as I stand with three powerful forces with me, I've trusted all three and they have never failed me. You may not physically see them, you may not physically hear them, you may not physically touch them, BUT look at Who's Standing. I have been placed in many fires and have come out unburned and without a scent of smoke. I'm a Wounded Warrior Newly Nourished Making Meaningful Movements. With all the pressures of life that every woman will endure, there comes a point where her focus must shift from outward appearances and personal accomplishments to the inner person- the very essence of the woman God designed her to be. She Wears It Well is written for the woman who desires to find her fulfillment in a deep and abiding relationship with Christ Jesus. Whether single, married, divorced, or widowed, the essential qualities outlined in this book such as faithfulness, creativity, excellence, and strength, are attributes every woman can wear better than high-end make-up, trendy attire, or even a sassy pair of shoes. Each of the essential qualities is featured in its own chapter with a discussion of its relevance to the current times in which we live from a biblical context, followed by a profile of a woman in the Bible who wears it well. Every chapter concludes with a practical application of how the quality can be cultivated so that every woman can realize her fullest potential. The art of wearing it well is critical to being satisfied with who you are, and where you are in this glorious season of your life. Andrea J. Dixon-Seahorn, Ed. Honey and Mahogany is a heartfelt story telling a tale of biracial children growing up and noticing that the world looks at their family weird as they play at the park and walk around town. The story begins by setting the stage of introducing a biracial couple falling in love and beginning a family. As the children grow up, they become aware of their family's differences. The children ask their parents why people look at them when they are around town. The parents sit the children down and explain to them the beauty that is added to the world due to their children's different skin tones. The colors of Honey Bronze and Rich Mahogany make the children unique and showcases true love. At the end of the story, the children proclaim their joy in their family's love and uniqueness. The children are proud of their skin tones and learn how to embrace their differences when others stare at their family. Honey and Mahogany is a lovely story for biracial children of all colors and skin tones, not just the ones that look like the characters inside the book. The hope is that through the story, parents and children can have a moment and conversation to help name their own skin tones, as each biracial child is wonderfully and perfectly designed by God and deserve to feel pride in the way they look to the world, just like Devon and Ella in the story. Heather R. Phillips is an inspiring author and activist. Heather knew she wanted to utilize her passion for writing to bring about more representation for biracial children in children's books. By building family capital through a successful daycare business, you will have the means to leave an inheritance to your children's children while gaining an eternal spiritual reward. Dark Tears Light Tears - Watershed Survivors of Domestic Violence highlights a few brave women representing the many. It offers new concepts and valuable insight into the warning signs and characteristics of a potential abuser and why this problem exists. It symbolizes the struggles associated with survivors and perhaps non-survivors of domestic abuse and violence. It focuses on Anna Cutters, a self-made affluent, nonprofit female executive who overcame an impoverished upbringing under the worst circumstances. Anna thought she had escaped and hidden her former life as a victim of domestic abuse. However, unknown circumstances revealed her dark past, which forced her to once again come face to face with debilitating events of her childhood years, and the life of five other women who had experienced abusive relationships. Dark Tears Light Tears create awareness and reminds us about the devastating effects of domestic violence. Statistics support a historical component, and glorifying moments restore us, reminding us that weeping endures for a night, but joy comes in the morning. Dark Tears Light Tears makes no separation between Violence committed by an intimate partner within the home and the oppression of other human beings induced by slavery during the 1800s. Domestic violence, defined as "any threatening form of mental, emotional, psychological, or physical force against a spouse, intimate partner, person, or a group that either results or is likely to result in injury, or death within the home," Dark Tears Light Tears brings controversial and often hidden subject matter to the forefront. Subject matters include politics, religion, Christianity, baptism, abuse, poverty, and gun control. It emphasizes the benefits of positive emotions, and the impact of negative emotions. Most importantly, it explains fundamental reasons for not being afraid or ashamed to share stories of abusive relationships. It introduces new perspectives and explores historical events necessary for shaping our future. Dr. Brenda J. Lewis graduated with distinction from Capella University, St. Paul, MN. She has a Ph.D. in Human Services with a specialization in the Management of Nonprofit Agencies. In addition to her Domestic Abuse Platform, Dr. Lewis is an active member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Alpha Mu Zeta Chapter, Little Rock, AR. She is active member of the McCabe Chapel United Methodist Church, North Little Rock, AR. She is the Director of Waste Not, Want Not, Inc., a 501(c) (3) organization. Dr. Lewis has a loving family and holds the well-being of family members within her heart.

The book makes for a fitting trilogy. With a keen mind (and heart), Skupien investigates the human spirit here with an insight reserved for a poet. Not without humor, the poems presented here are vivid, unique, and sincere.

She has been featured on several musical compositions and television commercials and has toured extensively, nationally and internationally. In all of Shelia's studies, success stories, touring adventures, and travels, she is most proud to be a mother of a Man-Child. Always sentimental and empathetic when it comes to the community of men, and boys in particular, especially those of Color, Shelia understands that because the woman is the first teacher of all men, it is important for us to uplift, support, and allow a man to be absolutely present in our lives.

"That... is the first time I have ever heard anyone say that." Mason wasn't happy about spending the summer with his aunt and uncle on Hollenboro, a remote island off the coast of Maine. He expected his time there to be quiet and uneventful, until he discovered a young woman following him. Nettie is from a neighboring island and has little knowledge of the modern world. The pair quickly form a friendship, but Mason realizes Nettie is not welcome on Hollenboro. This book series spans on FAITH, epoch times of events as each book generates of humanities greatest faults and our virtues. Never before has a young Christian surrounded by influence of the dark forces living within the shadows of each corners of our world with an epiphany life changing moments growing into adulthood learning to be a Man of God, Along the way making new friendships and meeting valued opportunities taking chances that could risk his own life. When I came to an understanding the way of life or one per say would say how the universe works literally it was an aha moment ordeal that did involve me dropping to my knees praying to the lord for gratitude and wisdom. It was to raw and beyond to scream at the top of my lungs on the tallest mountain, hopefully the reader can decide from this book, what is truly dark and what is light? As world events keeps turning upside down there is always appreciation in every gloom of darkness that can be a ray of light for hope in our darkest times. Been a fan of multiple books and writers one being in the six grade falling in love with the hobbit/LOTR by J. R. R. Tolkien to reading throughout high school on JK Rowling's Harry Potter with a splash of my classic childhood magic memories into a blender along with history and all-time favorites such as the Matrix and Men in Black would be a fictional book straight out from the backyard of Austin Texas if you haven't heard the saying, "Keep Austin Weird," Most and importantly I wanted my nephew, nieces and cousins to smile and laugh along the way within their own epic adventures of how beautiful our world that it truly is. Michael Angel Ruiz is an actual Texan from San Angelo, and a real cable guy in Austin Texas, a dreamer, a writer, and an author of his first new novel Epic Adventures of Cableguy. On my free time you'll find me reading the next exciting story about secret knowledge and history unfolding that always draws my curiosity to the extreme. what inspired me to write a book is genuine thought, to express freedom to value critical thinking starting with fresh young minds and polishing up on the next novel book. www.facebook.com/EpicAdventureofaCableguy/
