Islam is often viewed as a religion which teaches Salvation by work (`amilooa). However, a closer examination of the Qur'anic teaching on soteriology seems to indicate that faith in Allah and His mercy are also crucial for one's salvation. If that is the case, then how similar or different is Qur'anic teaching from the Biblical teaching of salvation by grace through faith?
