This second volume of letters takes us into the everyday life of the Lodges of Elect in the 18th Century in Toulouse and New Orleans. It also includes some fascinating testimonies of French Masonic life in the period of its total submission to Napoleonic rule. Etienne Morin's existing letters, as published in 1958 by N. Choumitzky in St Claudius, are here translated by Joseph Wages. We thought that we ought to re-examine, complete, correct and translate into English the index of names originally made by Gerry Prinsen for the Latomia edition. The Ritual, Secrecy, and Civil Society journal focuses on the study of the lasting influence of the Enlightenment, ritual, secrecy, and civil society vis-à-vis the dynamics of scholarship around the world. The journal aims to disseminate articles that question and explore the ways in which the secret initiatory societies interface with political and social history, and is part of the PSO's support of research into associations, civility, and the role of non governmental organizations in the development of democracy. Pierre Mollier is a graduate of the Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris ("Sciences-Po") and the Ecole Pratique des Hautes Etudes of the Sorbonne. He is editor of Renaissance Traditionelle and contributes to Politica Hermetica and Farliro. He is an authority on the French painter Jean-Fraçois Garneray. Pierre Mollier is the Director of Library, Archives, and Museum of the grand Orient of France, with a special scholarly interest in the First Empire and the Third Republic.

After 73 years of conflict, regardless of the many changes on the ground, the political wind that swept the region, and the intermittent violence between Israel and the Palestinians, the Palestinians will not give up on their aspiration for statehood. Ultimately a two-state solution remains the only viable option to end their conflict. The difference, however, between the framework for peace that had been discussed in the 1990s and 2000s when the focus was on establishing a Palestinian state in the West Bank and Gaza versus the present time is that many new, irreversible facts have been created: in particular the interspersing of the Israeli and Palestinian populations in the West Bank, Jerusalem, and Israel proper; the status of Jerusalem, where both sides have a unique religious affinity; the Israeli settlements in the West Bank, the majority of which will have to remain in place; the intertwined national security concerns of Israelis and Palestinians; and the Palestinian refugees, who need to be resettled and/or compensated. This unique book is in both English and Arabic for broader reach and understanding.

As stated in our website, the Journal is focused on "addressing the security and resiliency threats faced by US critical infrastructure sectors and the corresponding resiliency challenges of jurisdictions that rely on these infrastructures . . . each sector is considered so vital that its incapacitation would have a debilitating effect on the country's security, economic viability, public health and safety or other adverse outcomes." That article presents six ways things went wrong in London at the time that led to a historic loss by the most powerful maritime force in the world. The article explores how these types of shows were not only some of the most popular forms of entertainment during this time, but how they also gave a safe platform for Native Americans to showcase their customs, traditions, and culture.
