A whimsical story of mermaids concerned about the level of trash in their environment gathering the support of sea creatures and humans to get the trash out of the water onto the land. Very colorfully illustrated with some 17 full-page paintings.

This is the same content as the first edition with the illustrations rescanned to more properly render the original colour. The first edition used commercially scanned TIFF files without the oruginal illustrations for reference and the contents was extremely weak in green and overwhelmed by yellow.

Chesapeake Bay Retriever named Ben is followed from birth in an 1880s Prince Edward Island Lighthouse at Wood Islands. The ruknt of the litter, he grows up to find and rescue a lost little girl and later protect the lighthouse keeper from a hungry bear. Illustrated with 14 full-page color pictures, this is an excellent book to read to young children ot to be read by elementary-aged children..
