Noah finally had the opportunity to go to the fields to watch the sheep with his father on a fateful night in Judea. When the angels came and announced the birth of the Christ child, Noah had no idea it would change his world. He did not understand the significance of that night until he made some bad decisions and was taken from his home and held as a slave, trying to survive the cruelty of his masters.Linda retired from a career in nursing and began writing stories to leave a legacy of faith for her grandchildren. She holds a bachelor's degree from The College of New Jersey and a Master's degree from Seton Hall University. She lives in South Carolina and enjoys reading, fishing and writing.

Joyce Keveren has written six novels and one volume of short stories and one volume of poetry. This is her second volume of poetry.I had fun writing this book of poetry. When editing it, I realized there was a lot of anger being expressed, but it is the truth, so I will not change it. I try to always tell the truth in my spoken and written words. Again, if any of the content in this volume of poetry upsets, disturbs, or offends any of my readers, I understand. I too am often upset, disturbed, or offended by what I write. I hope you enjoy reading this poetry as much as I enjoyed writing it.

This book follows specific lessons learned by my choices while traversing a road unbalanced in its nature. Within a specific timeline and with all that transpired, a lesson was leaned from each encounter but came at the price of testing the edge of fortitude. Without a second glance, a final form of understanding created the way I've balanced want vs. need and the potential repercussions all choices have. What stood in the wake of the final devastation was a story that I can never repair but remains irreplaceable in every aspect.

Both domestic and international, it included many years of traveling and working abroad. For more than 50 years, when at home, he spent many winter weekends volunteering in mountain rescue efforts as an active Certified Patroller and National Ski Patrol member. Now retired, he has found the time to write exciting stories of mystery and adventure that bring the reader to many far-off places worldwide. As an avid fan of America's history, he also does historical reenactment at several National Parks and Monuments as a volunteer to help bring history alive for the many visitors to the National Park Service.Christie and his wife Lee currently reside in Florida with several rescued dogs that they have adopted.
