WHAT IF... There is a world 100% populated by refugees fleeing from The Great Pursuer? They fell from HOME and have passed through far flung galaxies, suns uncounted, worlds spinning restlessly; they fearfully flee... seeking shelter and protection from The ONE Who ceaselessly searches for each and every one of them... As these newly arrived immigrants unwind... This world closes 'round them, binds... With a flash, blinds... Hides deep in their minds... Memories of who they really are... Now, to The Great Pursuer none can provide The slightest hint of where they have come to hide... Conjured by all... those who fall... into this world they call... 'The BOX!' The world 'The BOX' represents is now beset by disease, potential disintegration and FEAR. Knihti, helped by Rednopi, must somehow find answers by 'thinking outside The BOX.' The quest leads to an adventure beyond the imagination! PJF, Penultimus J. Fin, is a new author with an old story. One older than time itself. His lifelong search for TRUTH has led him on a fantastic journey of discovery. His story-telling embraces a balanced blend of frustration, dissertation, instigation, organization, perspiration, separation and inspiration. He surely doesn't' 'shun the tions' and incorporates a poetic approach to tickling your imagination. A truly unique approach is his drive to help the reader think more deeply about life by use of acronyms; fine-tuned to literally define the word using the letters within the word itself. A good example is his use of the word FEAR meaning Frightening Experience Arguing Run! Can you withstand the winds of fear? Then you may come to realize it morphs into False Evidence Appearing Real... and then what? Why not let PJF take you on a journey of discovery to 'thinking outside 'The BOX'?
"Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand." Ephesians 6:10-13 Jim Davis has examined the births, lives, and deaths of 52 of the world's most notorious serial killers, mass murderers, thieves, and destroyers from the perspective of the probable demonic influences in their lives and the numerous schemes that the devil has used to deceive, divert and destroy their lives as well. Davis proposes common themes seen in these lives which reveal the same patterns and destructive tendencies that the devil has always used from the beginning. To lie, kill, steal, and destroy; that is his gameplan! The world forces at play on wars, politics, zombies, vampires, gender identity, reproductive choice, parenting, sexuality, false prophets, and religion are exposed. Employing a dark demonic humor, he invites his readers to examine the hidden darkness and influences in their own lives that are not usually considered in affecting life events. Would you be nominated as one of The Other Twelve Disciples as Jim was? Jim Davis is an author, teacher, life and career coach, and Biblically-based counselor; and the creator of BestPathFoundation.com where he helps people to move from work to worship. He has written four books including Being About My Father's Business which is the complete work on work, and can be reached at jdworktoworship@yahoo.com. Jim was inducted into the Ohio Veterans Hall of Fame in 2022 and is married with 35 family under his umbrella with wife Mabel of 54 years. Jim loves to take God's Truth to His kids so that they come out of bondage into the freedom to worship Him.

All women and men of faith, whether they realize it or not, exist inside a paradox. Each night they pray to a God who they know to be in control of all things and perfectly good. It would not be unreasonable to fall asleep with the hope the night would bring no further blight upon His creation. Yet each morning they wake to find evil's scars anew. Once again, the paradox of pain has reared its ugly head. Is there a way to bring understanding to this paradox? Join the author and travel the only route possible. Traversing as through a maze, we will confront eight seemingly unsolvable quandaries that suffering presents. The path these problems force us upon will become our guide to uncovering God's purpose in allowing pain. And when we emerge from the maze, God's goodness will be fully vindicated as well as His wisdom in directing us to the sure refuge of faith when suffering becomes our portion. The author has spent the last 40 plus years in the medical field working as an intern, medical resident and then private practice as an internist. Paralleling this career has been a longstanding interest in the problem of suffering which was sparked by reading When Bad Things Happen to Good People, by Harold Kushner. Being neither a philosopher or theologian has allowed the author to discover certain truths previously unrecognized. He presently resides in New York City with his wife, daughter, a Himalayan and two new knees.

In her book, "How You Can Receive Miracles Through Prayer and Intercession", Susan Sanchez gives keys for prayer to Christians to pray more effectively and confidently. The manuscript serves as a powerful tool for encouraging readers to believe that miracles can and will happen through the power of prayer. You will be inspired by her testimony as she shares the miracles God has performed in her life. Susan Sanchez says: "I hope that this book will unlock your desire and passion for miracles while strengthening your fellowship and relationship with the Holy Spirit. This book will bring you to a new level of faith and a new level of prayer and trust in God. Intimate fellowship with the Master (Jesus) must be the priority in our lives and God must be first and His Word final authority. Cultivating an intimate relationship with the Master is vital to get to know Him as He knows you, hearing His voice daily, and being led by Him. This is a prerequisite to receiving miracles, answers from God, and fulfilling your destiny. As a godly woman, I believe that leaving a legacy of prayer and faith is one of the greatest blessings and gifts you can pass on to your children and your children's children. Proverbs 13:22 says, "A good man leaves an inheritance to his children's children." When we choose to live as God commands in His Word and live according to this standard, we pass godliness, spiritual wealth, and wisdom to the succeeding generations."

In the beginning... This short phrase speaks volumes to those who hear it. These are the three powerful words that start the Bible, and introduce all of time and creation. They imply fresh starts, histories, and stories, of which the Bible is filled. In author Stephen D. Sears's In the Beginning - A Consideration of Genesis, readers are taken on a transformative journey back to the astounding start of it all, including time itself. These pages provide refreshing, new perspective and interpretation on everything in Genesis - including the big stories, but also the book's minor characters and "smaller" stories too. Most importantly, Sears examines the ever-present, all-important God-human relationship, shedding new light on who we are in relation to God's great plan and will for us. Sears takes a deep dive into Genesis, a book where it is not hard to find things that bother or challenge us, and cause us to reflect on our human nature. The characters do peculiar or ungodly things. There is a lot about families, and these families are usually in deep conflict. First begun as a passion project inspired by the author's re-visitation of Genesis in adulthood, this book is designed to interest readers of all the largest religions, and for any general reader simply interested in knowing the Bible better. The author's hope is that readers will be inspired to go back and read the huge, undiscovered land that is the book of Genesis for themselves, and experience it in all its glory! Ann Haskin was born in a three-room shack in the backwoods of Alabama. Her father died when she was two. Her mother was abusive and neglectful, leaving the hungry children to fend for themselves as they searched for food. This continued until the children were rescued by the police and escorted to their aunt's cotton farm. There, they picked cotton all day in the hot, humid sun. Shortly thereafter, the children were returned to their mother who, after moving a stranger into the house, fled to California with him and the children. They would watch in horror as this man would beat their mother, at times leaving her for dead. Ann's life demonstrates the power of God, which transformed a shattered childhood into a life of purpose and meaning. This is a story of hope, faith, and forgiveness and how she found joy and peace in His promises. Ann Haskin grew up in California and recently moved to Oklahoma to be near her family. She has been involved in Calvary Chapel churches since the 1970s and has served in many ministries over the last thirty-two years. Ann faithfully volunteered as a chaplain in Juvenile Hall for seven years and has a passion to evangelize and minister to those who are broken and hurting. She also had the privilege of being a counselor at crusades that featured speakers Billy Graham, Greg Laurie, and Franklin Graham. Ann speaks at different events throughout the United States, sharing her story in order to help others find redemption as she did in the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Ann believes that God called her into this ministry and is excited to see how He plans to use her life story and this book.
There are wonderful things, like health benefits to go along with practicing forgiveness. For now, we see through a glass darkly, but then face to face; now I know in part, but then shall I know even as also I am known 1 Corinthians 13:12 King James Version. Emotional writing, forgiveness is one of the most effective dissertation statements. Forgiveness is planning to give up your feelings of anger, bitterness, resentment and hatred towards a person who has committed a wrong against you. 1. We must forgive, 2. Total forgiveness (a) The timing of forgiveness (B) The difficult and compelling act of forgiving 3. Why we don't forgive our pain 4 Claiming our power (a) Identifying with other (b) Cultivate the life of the sprit, 5 (a) Famous forgiveness happens (6) A famous forgiveness story (a) forgiveness happens (b) Confront selected offenders. (7) Letting it go (8) Personal question (9) Revenge and forgiveness (10) The timing of forgiveness (11) Conclusion: It is an important piece in forgiveness that the benefit is more to help the victim than it is to help the person who hurt them. Before a person can move on, he or she must forgive in order to be healthy and be right with God and with themselves. Dr. Joe M. Bankhead was born in Sulligent, Alabama. Inspired by the ministry experiences of a real pastoral couple, From Battles to Victory follows a husband and wife team and their teenage children through two ministry callings in the same county where they encounter incredible challenges and seemingly crushing defeats. Will these callings be too much for the Hansons, tearing them apart as a family, or will this household rise to the occasion and fight the spiritual battles they encounter together? Can Pastor Steve and his family forgive those who wound them? Will their trust in God and dedication to their callings produce victorious outcomes? Written with the seminary student and ministry leader in mind, this novel/handbook highlights important Biblical strategies and practices to help equip people for ministry on a spiritual level so they can experience more victories in spiritual battles during their ministry assignments. This book was written to teach you how to unlock the power within to heal your body. Many people in the world are sick and rely on the healthcare system for help. When I relied on doctors and medication, it always brought more sickness. God (Yahweh) healed me with natural food, fasting, herbs, and faith. This book is my story of how I won my twenty-one-year struggle with disease. God showed me that you can be healed if you believe, without a doubt. Your affliction is only a test that you must pass to bring out the greatness in you. I won my battle, and so can you. Arise out of your pain and be victorious, no matter how hard it is. God is waiting for you to build a relationship with Him and put Him first in everything you do. You can overcome your sickness, no matter what you have been told. Have faith and know that with God you are unstoppable-you were built to win! My name is Carmalita Howard. Away From Home is a short story about a young child's experience in foster care. Like most children's foster care journeys, this one does not have a fairy tale ending. More importantly, the child has learned that they are loved regardless of where they are. Use this story as an icebreaker to open up to your foster child about their feelings regarding their current situation and as an opportunity to hear what they want to share and what they need to be successful. Jamie Hazen lives in rural Kansas with her husband and three children. She has worked for the judicial system for over 10 years. During this time she recognized that the needs of many foster children throughout rural Kansas were not being met. This recognition resulted in the creation of the HUGGSS Away From Home Foundation. Established in 2017, HUGGSS is a non-profit organization that specializes in easing the transition for children in foster care as they move between homes and by filling in the gaps with basic and necessary items to help each child be successful and feel loved. Unable to find a book that younger foster children could find relatable, Jamie decided to write Away From Home. Jamie has a passion for people and a heart that loves to help others. "Away From Home" is Jamie's first children's book.
What if you are afraid to be free? You feel pulled to the unknown yet taking that first step into what appears to be darkness, keeps your feet planted firmly in what is known. What is it that calls to you from uncharted territory? Who is it? In a rush to what is familiar, you become attached yet again, to another thread. Each thread represents one year, a belief, an identity, a persona, trauma, and successes. Imagine...every concept you thought to be true, begins to erase itself. Where would that leave you? Each thread of your life carries identity. When your perceived identity becomes unraveled, what would be left staring back at you in the mirror? Unraveled reveals what is left and if nothing else is left to unravel perhaps, this is when you reach peak freedom. The elimination of the full picture yields space for someone new to be revealed. What's left is uncharted territory. Will you be curious to dive into the uncharted?"--
Though Christians have the promise of eternal life with Christ, as the hour of death approaches, there are still the standard human emotions that must be dealt with such as: denial, anger, bargaining and depression before individuals can come to acceptance. Happiness being fleeting, eternal joy is the prize we seek and our hope for tomorrow should never be diminished by the pains of today. Christians are to let heaven be their focus for where one is looking is where they are going. By God we are loved, purchased and destined to a greater existence. Sheep respond to the voice of only their shepherd and because they have faith and trust in their shepherd they are made safe and secure. Remember the glory we receive in heaven is too great to even be compared to what we are experiencing here on earth. This book is designed to state and restate the promises the Scriptures provide to us about our death. The more we read, and reread the more fixed in our minds the promises will be. The more certain of these promises the more peace we shall have at the time of our death. Many read this book over and over. James P. Elslager: is a retired Mechanical Engineer born in Indianapolis, Indiana in 1945. Jim began attending church with his mother at age 10. Presently Jim's wife Judy and he attend First Baptist Church of North Terre Haute. Jim has been a Sunday School teacher for about fifty years and has served in churches as a youth director, elder, deacon, preacher and sometimes a peacemaker. Over the years we have noticed, even strong Christians, waver a bit when death is approaching. We've not experienced death before and we know it will take some adjustment, but fear can be diminished or laid to rest by putting your hand in the hand of the man. It is our hope and prayer that this book is helpful to you by recalling and recalling God's promises to us. May God bless you and guide you as you read, prayer will help.
Saved and unsaved alike, we were all born with a sinful nature, and we are all in need of a savior. God is aware of our propensity to sin while living in our fleshly bodies, but our defensive and materialistic nature often blinds us to the love and forgiveness that He readily offers, and instead, we find ourselves in a spiritual desert, searching for water to quench our thirst. After God's Own Heart by Samantha P. Meade is a collection of biblically inspired poems that touch on the various experiences of a prodigal son or daughter in a spiritual wilderness and the lessons learned through confession, repentance, and the grace, mercy, and forgiveness of God. Meade speaks both to herself and to readers within her poems, sharing a stream of consciousness that uncovers faith-based truths and the struggles Christians may face when creating a deeper relationship with Christ. God knows the acts of obedience and disobedience that we will perform before we ever carry them out, and His Word assures us that even when we make a decision not to obey Him, His love for us never changes and never comes to an end. He is forever ready and waiting for us to confess our sins to Him, turn away from those sinful habits, and ask for forgiveness. His desire is not that we live lives of perfection, but that in this life, we continuously position our hearts to remain in pursuit of His glory that leads to total victory in Christ Jesus.
In the United States alone, there are over 41 million people who are serving in unpaid caregiver roles for an elderly relative. Taking on this role, while also balancing the various aspects of day-to-day life, can be exhausting and overwhelming. In this book, author Robyn Horn shares her experiences as both a caregiver and caregiver educator and focuses on how caregivers can find peace and purpose in what can often be a very challenging role. Transforming the Mundane into Sacred: Spirituality in Caregiving for the Elderly by Robyn Horn is an inspiring book in which the author shares her journey to finding spiritual purpose and fulfillment in caring for the elderly and their caregivers. Throughout the book, she is a clear and effective communicator, drawing readers into the narrative with ease, as she delves deep into this important topic for family and professional caregivers who are seeking biblical and godly guidance as they care for this beloved generation. Sitting on a bench at a silent retreat, Robyn prayed about how she could use her God-given gifts to assist families who are caring for the elderly. Spirituality has played such an important role in both her family caregiving experiences and her professional career. In that moment, she asked God for specific ways she could share her spiritual caregiving journey with others and reveal how He had equipped her every step of the way. How did God answer her prayer that day in His soft and gentle voice? "Write a book." And so, she did! Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is-his good, pleasing and perfect will (Romans 12:2 NIV). Robyn Horn has a master's degree in Gerontology from the University of North Texas as well as an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Southwestern University. Robyn has spent most of her adult life advocating for and assisting the elderly and their family caregivers. She served as a licensed nursing home administrator for thirteen years which included two years at an Alzheimer's assisted living facility. In 2007 she was inspired by God to develop a business dedicated to educating healthcare professionals in geriatric care. Robyn has facilitated several caregiver support groups in both facility and community settings. As a caregiver herself for multiple elderly family members, she has drawn on her Christian faith to help her and others through this sacred journey.
