I was compelled to write this book due to the issues I was having, and others I've heard of, because of this horrific disease. Also, to share education on the info provided to me with others who are going through similar circumstances. I also made some suggestions in the book for the readers, if they would be willing to try what worked for me, which was God's Word it heals, and is challenging. It helped to mold and focus us to grow. We wouldn't have gotten as far as we did if it wasn't for His Word. The Lord gave me the wisdom, and guidance to seek out the proper avenues of help, and to overcome a lot of the schemes of the devil! You are an overcomer! Be blessed!!! Born in sunny California, Gail is the eldest of two. Gail came from a very unique home. Her mother from Nebraska, and her stepfather from Sweden that raised her. When Gail was seven, they flew across continent to Sweden, Copenhagen, Denmark, Iceland, Greenland, Stockholm, and Norway to meet family. Gail traveled a lot. Also at seven, Gail was going to a predominantly Jewish Elementary where she was truly blessed. Mrs. Hoffman, her favorite teacher, nurtured and exposed her to great things. Gail will never forget her praying grandmother DeeDee who introduced her to Christ and taught her the "Yes, Jesus Loves Me Song". Gail and her grandmother would sing it together as she played the piano. Gail misses her. Gail has two beautiful children, and three lovely grandchildren, she's been through the good, the bad, and the ugly, but God is changing that ugly into pretty. Gail must say "Jesus is her rock, and her salvation, and without Him we can do nothing"!

Due to life's experiences, the author has written poetry and brief devotionals to bring encouragement and hope to the reader. Everyone goes through difficulties, physical struggles, and sorrows, but in the midst of her storms, Marilyn has maintained vision and confidence of a clear horizon. It is her hope that this book will be a life raft for each person, and a steppingstone in their walk of faith. God is present in our storms! He has been my anchor through life's sorrows and afflictions. God is who He says He is, and does what He declares He will do! In 2002 I had pneumonia, and a virus went into the T6 of my spine. As the virus feasted, the damage caused me to collapse. It was then I began to deal with the effects of transverse myelitis. After a month of physical therapy, I learned to walk again. I walked using two canes for stability, and then cancer came. The Lord brought me through a mastectomy, chemo, and radiation, surrounded by precious family and friends. The day came, as I was trying to get into our home, I could not raise my foot up onto the threshold. I tried and tried, but I could not. My loving husband immediately placed ramps at the entrances of our home, so I could shuffle my feet with success. Later, a battery-operated chair became essential! My body began having new symptoms of difficulty. It was concluded that since my oxygen level was 51 while I slept and 78 while I sat in my chair, I was in respiratory failure. I was placed on 8 liters of oxygen at night and 2 liters during the day. The time came when I spent most of my existence on my bed. The greatest difficulty of each day was trying to get out of bed. My awesome Lord Jesus began bursting poetry through me during this season of my life. Today, by His miraculous Hand, I no longer need prescribed oxygen, and I can walk short distances with a walker. God, who has been with me in the journey, is raising me up! I refuse to call impossible that which God calls possible!
In a world where mysterious phenomena are often chalked up to coincidence, many seem to forget that our God is a God of Miracles. Dr. M. Ricardo Calderón has experienced decades of medical miracles worked by God's hand, and compelled by God's mercy and love, he bears witness to wonders the Lord has worked in his life and that of his family's. Healed by Dr. M. Ricardo Calderón is a unique medical treatise on divine healing that complements, supports, and fills a void in the faith and medicine literature available today. His work describes six different healing experiences that have taken place over his lifetime, including being healed from leukemia despite incomplete chemotherapy, followed by complete cancer remission for twenty-four years and counting. As a Christian physician executive, educator, and global health expert, Dr. Calderón integrates scientific knowhow with spiritual and divine healing experiences. He includes medical descriptions of six illnesses with a corresponding miraculous healing story and spiritual interpretation, along with evidence-based documentation. This narrative is accented by seventy-eight wisdom keys and discernments supported by Bible verses/citations, making this a work of both healing and wisdom. God is real, and He operates above and beyond the natural in the realm where all miracles are possible. Christians and non-Christians alike must only have faith and believe that they can be healed too, and they will find the solutions to whatever problems and struggles they are facing. God continues to perform miracles, and He is the same, today, yesterday, and forever. He is the Lord who heals. M. RICARDO CALDERÓN, MD, MPH, FPMER, was born in Guatemala, Central America. He is a physician executive, educator and global health expert with over 25 years of experience in senior leadership, representation, advisory services, and management of public, private, academic, research, pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, faith-based and non-profit organizations in over 20 countries. He was educated and trained at five universities in Guatemala (USAC) and the United States (UCLA, USC, CSUN, UNC).

Yes, It Matters proves that our that our clothing style and selection choices matter as God's children. It does so by furnishing the reader a reasoned explanation of dress standards and the principles that lie beneath them. In the process, this work will help you formulate practical clothing choices in a biblical framework. How we look is not isolated from our spirituality. Our appearance alone does not make us spiritual, but neither is our spirituality divorced from it. Yes, our appearance matters. To God and to others. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God IS love. 1 John 4:8 A Daily Dose of the Living WORD will renew your SPIRIT daily if taken and applied. There is no better way to understand LOVE than to understand God, which IS love. Love is a blessing and a privilege that we have freely been given. Do you struggle with love? Do you struggle with understanding God? Are you having a hard time reading the Bible every day? Allow a Daily Dose to give you bite-size pieces of God's promises. Daily time with God will allow you to get a better understanding of God's purpose in your life. Watch as you grow into a deeper and more intimate relationship with God through Jesus Christ by spending just a few minutes per day. Add A Daily Dose to your meditation, prayer, and quiet time. A Daily Dose to build, renew and strengthen your faith and your spirit. Remember, a healthy spirit leads to a healthy life. Benjamon Young In 2007, A voice spoke to me as audible as a voice could be heard and it said, "It won't be the first 35 years of your life that will be remembered. If you live your life for me, it will be the last 35 years of your life that will be remembered." I was a man without a purpose, but now my purpose is defined; which is to help people out of religion and into a relationship with Jesus Christ. Nichol Cotton - Harding I didn't understand God's LOVE until I leaned in and read the living word for myself. This is when I discovered so much I missed because of "religion". I understood then, that my purpose was to reintroduce people to Our God, Jesus Christ, and Holy Spirit in a different way. This relationship changed my life and undoubtedly will change yours.
For years I wondered what was the still voice I heard in my head, it was always peaceful. But, yet the noise of daily busy life would overpower the peaceful voice. Quickly my brain would become full of chaos and on with the day I would go. Well at some point that quiet still voice decided to speak louder, and I decided to listen, sadly it wasn't until I was in the heat of the battle. Many times we think we know the right thing to do and never know where that decision might lead us. Proverbs 3:5-6 says Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him and he will make your paths straight. I am here to tell you that it does not matter when you make the decision to trust in the LORD, he will be there. Clarice Young was born in Chicago, Illinois and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and since has moved to Charlotte, North Carolina where she intends to live the rest of her best life. She attended Concordia University in Wisconsin, where she earned her master's in business management and communication and she attended a biblical course every semester of different faiths, which she credits for the seed that was planted to stay in touch with her spiritual side. She has always journalled but was prompted to write a book as she began her search for purpose. She didn't know what the book would be about at first, but as she continued through her journey it formed itself. Clarice was inspired to write and share her spiritual journey in hopes that it will help others understand those nudges that are not always understood and your answers to gut instinct.

As a pre-teen, David Keimig was diagnosed with Friedreich's Ataxia-a rare and devastating genetic disorder which would gradually take from him much that many take for granted. David would lose some things before he experienced them as his own. Why would a loving God allow such a disorder as Friedreich's Ataxia? And why would God allow this condition to impact so profoundly a young boy? How could David bear the weight of this diagnosis? In his autobiographical book, David considers his experiences in the light of his faith. He invites readers to respond with joy in trials for the Glory of God. Whatever one's experiences, whatever one's religious beliefs (even if one has no specific religious beliefs...), David's testimony of living well despite profound difficulties will both challenge and inspire. Come alongside David as he gives his best to living with joy amidst Friedreich's Ataxia. Deo Gloria! Born and raised in Colorado, David Keimig resides with his parents in Bennett-a rural town east of Denver. At the age of eleven, he was diagnosed with Friedreich's Ataxia-a rare genetic degenerative disorder. Despite the difficulties David lives with, he finds ways to pursue his interests. Above all, David lives to be a witness for Jesus Christ as he navigates through continuing daily struggles. This book, while written by David A. Keimig to share his story, is being published by the Joy Amidst Friedreich's Foundation, Inc., a charitable foundation. Chandra's Quest to check in on Granny Carr and return the family treasure Granny had sent her, had become problematic. The last letter Granny had sent contained the cameo, an important gem to the family history. Now that she had recovered from a nasty bout of flu, she arrived to discover that Granny Carr was missing, It didn't help that Granny's stepson, Marcus Carr, had arrived on the scene moments after her arrival. Their initial meeting was fraught with tension and distrust. He suspected her motive in coming and she was finding it hard to resist him, the man who was the exact image of his forefather, the Duc de Montepeire, of whom Chandra had been mesmerized since a child. Together they needed to put aside personal feelings in their quest to find Granny. A mysterious stranger and pilfered treasures only made matters worse. Would Granny's fate ever be discovered? I am a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. I started writing when my children were young. I was feeling the need for adult conversation and discovered romance novels. After voraciously reading hundreds if not thousands of them I started writing for my own enjoyment. Recently my granddaughters started reading my books. This summer will mark fifty-teo years of marriage to my husband. Fifty-two wonderful years of laughter and puns have left their mark on me. There have been tears and arguments but mostly they were filled with a love that shines through in my writing. My first published book, A Promise to Keep, was one of the first novels I wrote. I did have a non-fiction book published by Standard Publishing back in the late 80's, early 90's, and several of my poems have been published. I enjoy reading, music, camping and being with my family. Happy Reading!

Designed to be used alongside the book The Story of the Bible-God's Message to the World, this Study Guide explores the topic discussed in each of the book's chapters in more depth. The questions for each lesson follow the flow of the story, each question leading to a discovery of the answers in the original source, the Bible. The book presents a panoramic view of God's interaction with humanity through the storyline of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. In straight-forward and simple language, it traces God's plan of redemption running like a scarlet thread through the events it recounts. This Study Guide can be used both for individual study and for small group classes. It particularly encourages the student to notice details in the text of the Bible, bringing its message to life. By comparing related passages in the Old and New Testaments it also brings out rich insights that apply to us today. About the Author Beverly Hubbard grew up in a family that loved the Bible. She had heard all the Bible stories by the time she learned to read, and after that she could read them for herself. When her parents went to Brazil as missionaries, she and her siblings were educated in mission boarding schools. "Let the things I've been through serve as a lesson you can learn from strictly on faith and the belief in knowing that I love and care for each of you. The only thing I truly wish to gain in return is living the remainder of my life with the confidence of knowing that you take heed to these words and avoid making the same mistakes as I." There are times when mistakes are made, but it is too late to right them before punishment is dealt. As a minor growing up in a Nebraskan ghetto, Billy Ray Billups became heavily influenced by adults who he admired for their "maturity." Charged with auto theft, shoplifting, assault, and other criminal acts, he was kicked out of the state of Nebraska. Fast forward to adulthood, and Billups found himself incarcerated for his crimes. It was during his thirteen years of incarceration when he began to realize that everything that had happened in his past was a result of making poor decisions. Options had been presented to him to make good choices, yet he had tried to live up to others' expectations rather than his own. He finally received his wake-up call to live a more positive life. Now, the time has come for him to share his story to encourage younger generations to better understand the value in their ability to make good and rational decisions. In his raw and beautiful narrative Eighty to 120: No Lies, No Alibis Wake-Up Call, Billups sheds light for a hopeful and better tomorrow by providing insight from his personal experiences to help readers understand how important it is to be mindful of the ripple effect conscious and careful decisions can have. "Pledge to yourself to be the best version of yourself, then be it." Growing up in the ghetto is not easy this book was written for the purpose of a wakeup call to all young and old.
In his Baptist History in England and America, David Beale illuminates numerous topics, including Baptist origins, their search for the ancient manner of immersion, and even the way they acquired the name Baptist. His book annotates key beliefs and practices in Baptist confessions of faith. Multiple chapters describe persecutions Baptists suffered, and contributions they made toward religious freedom and liberty of conscience. Striking a balance between brief and exhaustive, the author aims to inspire and to encourage, as well as to inform, in a precise and accurate manner. He provides in-depth coverage of numerous topics never mentioned in average surveys. Beale refutes the oft-repeated charge that key Baptist leaders were once Seekers, Levellers, Ranters, and Fifth Monarchists. The book is unique in the extent of its usage of local church records and numerous manuscripts in libraries at home and abroad. p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; text-align: justify; font: 12.0px Merriweather} span.s1 {font: 12.0px Helvetica} David Beale taught Baptist History (college and seminary) twice a year for thirty years at Bob Jones University and Seminary.
