God's covering: moving from glory to glory provides sound doctrine to believers concerning the ways in which they are covered by the glory of God. Most new believers know that they have sinned and fallen short of God's glory, but few grasp the reality of their current identity, position, and responsibility in His kingdom. This book focuses on how God took me from a backslider to an ambassador of His Gospel of reconciliation. After an extraordinary encounter with God my whole life began to change as He continues to shift me from glory to glory. This book provides insightful teaching about the defeated accuser, our peace covenant, our rights as children of God and the need for the church to be a unified body of believers guided be the Holy Spirit. These promised provisions are available to all who abides under God's covering. You can experience this freedom of abiding in His secret place! Minister Anthony C. Burris is first and foremost a servant and son of God. My assignment in the body of Christ is to teach the infallible word of God as inspired by the Holy Spirit. I was filled with the Holy Spirit at age fifteen. While in high school I heard the call of God to teach His children in the NYC school system. In fulfillment of this calling, I have taught in the NYC school system for more than thirty-five years. I have served as a deacon in charge of evangelism, servant-leader leading a home-group ministry, and as a minister/ administrator in my most recent church assignment. This book is an extension of my assignment to teach new believers and share my testimony of my walk with Jesus.
Inspired by stories of evangelists who were part of the Protestant missionary movement of the nineteenth century, eight classmates from Union Theological Seminary applied to the American Board of Commissioners of Foreign Missions (ABCFM) to accomplish missionary work abroad. Joseph Cochran, John Dulles, Edward Dodd, George Coan, Dwight Marsh, Justin Parsons, George Dunmore, and Samuel Rhea became the inner circle known as the brothers of the red velvet chapeaux and traveled to India, Asia Minor, and Persia to help spread the Word of God. Author Kathryn McLane, the great-great granddaughter of Samuel Rhea, serves as the ghostwriter of a "fictionalized collective memoir" that shares the missionary lives of these young men and their self-denying labors in foreign lands. Their stories describe the perils they faced, such as marauding Kurds and Arabs, severe weather, disease, and persecution by the leaders of other religious sects as well as the strength they derived from their religious devotion and camaraderie. As the author was drawn to and fascinated by the stories of these missionaries told through letters and reports published and archived in journals of the ABCFM (during a period spanning half a century from 1840 to 1890), so, too, will readers be drawn to the determined faith and endurance these men showed as they faced various struggles to ensure their missionary work reached those who needed it. To carry on the legacy of these brave men of God, prepare to be transported back in time as "fictionalized" dialogue brings to life the true documented events and stories in Brothers of the Red Velvet Chapeaux.

Tragedy and loss are a normal part of our everyday lives, yet the darkness of certain situations keeps us from speaking about the painful truth of how these situations mark us. Those who have experienced tragedy and loss tend to keep the pain of their circumstances hidden due to fear of how others will react. The nation of Liberia has a rich and deep history that represents its strength and perseverance, as it has dealt with severe corruption since its birth. Liberia's political state has been shifted several times, and 1988 marked the beginning of a civil war that would cost the lives of hundreds of thousands and misplace millions of citizens. In Liberia A Cross Between Crime and Punishment, Saah Foday Kanda illuminates the political and social chaos that ensued in Liberia from the 80s until now. He informs readers about the people and events that either helped build or tried to destroy Liberia, the important dates that mark the beginning of various conflicts, and the aftermath and rebuilding period for this country. He details the strategies of the rebellion and how he was imprisoned by the rebels himself as a refugee, witnessing terrible atrocities and constantly fighting for harmony and peace in a hostile environment. As someone who has experienced the disorder of Liberia firsthand, Saah Foday Kanda understands the imperativeness of sharing the realities of the civil war that took place there. Misinformation and hearsay spread quickly, so Saah knew his voice and eye-witness accounts had to be heard to provide accurate and reliable information on how his nation endured through its suffering and still stands tall in the face of adversity. Saah Foday Kanda has an extensive educational and leadership background, earning a graduate degree in general public administration from Capella University and pursuing two undergraduate degrees at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. The debate over vaccines and their impact on people has been ongoing for many years. While some people believe that vaccines are necessary, others are strongly opposed to them. Unfortunately, many people lack the necessary information to make informed decisions about vaccines. Veronica Moore has written a book called "Vaccines, Did You Know?" to provide readers with comprehensive information on this topic. Veronica's interest in vaccines began when her son was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome. She spent several years researching the condition, which led her to discover information about vaccines, the science, the laws, and the misinformation surrounding them. Her book aims to provide readers with a detailed analysis of vaccines, including their ingredients and effects on children and adults. Veronica draws on peer-reviewed medical studies, and conversations with doctors, nurses, epidemiologists, virologists, and parents, to ensure that she covers many aspects of the vaccine debate. Additionally, she shares her personal experience with vaccines, offering a more realistic and personal approach to the conversation. Veronica believes that questioning and researching information about vaccines is essential to understanding what we put into our bodies. By writing this book, she hopes to encourage others to investigate vaccines more thoroughly, enabling everyone to make more informed choices about what is best for their family. Veronica Moore is a wife, mother, grandmother, homeschool teacher, and an Associate Real Estate Broker. She and her husband reside in New York State with their children.

In this contemporary world, we often fall into one of three job cultures: You either do as you are told, you are in the pursuit of self-employment, or you are not "needed" anymore due to technological advancements in the workplace. Millions of employment opportunities have been eliminated by mechanization, and many trade skill training initiatives have been diminished in favor of academia. Yet, the distinguishing factor between academics and training is now often overlooked and ignored, but no more. Nothing Will Work If You're Not Willing To by Melvin C. Pohlkotte introduces a nine-book series addressing the "workplace task skill-gap plight" of the unemployed and underemployed. Academia's reliance on memorization versus hands-on, structured, and progressive efficiency-based workplace training has left many feeling stuck in their careers or without a firm foundation to stand on. However, Pohlkotte asserts that it is not the individual skill gap that causes the lack of opportunity as much as the absence of human performance and task skill training. In this book, he focuses on the trade, job, and task-specific data; foundational and fundamental to any manufacturing workplace. Anchored to the US Department of Labor's O*Net standards, which are time-proven, evidence-based, and published for more than 13,000 specific job titles. Pohlkotte has crafted a training progression that has been perfected over his sixty-eight-year career, and now he offers it to you. The most prevalent pre-requisite for a job candidate today is the willingness to invest in time, effort, and attitudinal transformation regarding self-worth, self-will, and pride in personal performance, regardless of what others are doing. It's time to focus on attitude, self-discipline, and a personal willingness to sacrifice now for your future.
My life was under the influence of darkness, by the age of 24, l had already had 3 car accident, broken my arm and on my way to the grave. I was overweight, struggling with self-esteem and struggling with alcohol. If it was not for the prayers of my grandmother and mother l do not know if l would still be around. In this book l talk about my journey from darkness to light. My passion is that through my story you can be encouraged to rise above the challenges you face. I wish l can tell you it is easy or it was easy but that would be a lie. What l can tell you though is that light is more powerful than darkness and has a desire that you choose it. I did not journey from darkness to light through my own will power or strength, there were people such as my grandmother, mother and wife who helped me to be where l am. You also can be the light bearer to those in darkness. My name is Nkosilomusa, which means God is gracious. This is the name that my grandfather gave me after losing his only son who was fifteen years old. My grandfather instead of allowing grief to consume him, named me as praise to God after a tragedy. You will think with such a good name l was a saint, far from it. My teenage years like lots of teenagers were full of rebellion. I was nearly expelled from secondary school because of alcohol abuse. Alcohol was my escape from the trauma of losing my grandfather at a young age. Alcohol was soon introduced to marijuana and the rest is history.
Finally, in this exciting redefinition of baptism in the Spirit, Loren Caudill has produced a fascinating theology of Pentecost that is at once complex and compelling. Reaching into modern scholarship and his Pentecostal experience, the author lifts the veil on ultimate reality and its relationship to Spirit Baptism and to the heavenly places in Christ. For the first time in modern history definitions of New Testament terms like born again, new creation and yes even the term Christian are defined from within their original Pentecostal settings. The reader will sense a fresh wind of excitement as the traditional concepts of eternal life, the kingdom of God, water baptism, the mystery of Christ, the church, and of believers inheritance are scrutinized. Just as believers in mass have become fatigued of church as usual, The Messianic Matrix offers Pentecostals and Fundamentalists alike a new and biblical paradigm for life together in Christ. LOREN W. CAUDILL The author was born and raised rural Iowa. The most profound influences of his youth came from powerful teaching and expressions of the Holy Spirit that he experienced in Summer Bible camps. As a young adult he was trained in the Pentecostal tradition of the Foursquare Gospel. After studying at and graduating from colleges in the Foursquare organization he graduated from Trinity International University in Deerfield Illinois. He began his pastoral ministry in the Foursquare organization and has ministered for over 30 years in both Foursquare and non denominational churches. During the last decade he has dedicated himself to ministry in Ukraine as well as to the research and writing of this book. The concepts found in this work were birthed in the author s travail for an effective ministry in the kingdom of God. It ensued under his belief that a scholarly investigation of these concepts was an absolute necessity.
What is a woman? Although society's definition of a woman seems to change frequently, the Bible's depiction of God's design and plan for women has not altered since He created Eve. The biblical passages relating to the role of women must be the source of our description of a woman. The headship of man, which began at Eve's creation from Adam's rib as his helper, continues after the fall as God called to Adam in the Garden of Eden. The consequences for their sin were both spiritual and physical death. Conflict replaced harmony in their relationship. God created Eve and designed her with a special purpose. Our privilege as women is not to attempt to change what God has fashioned but to fulfill the blessings He has promised to women. A Delicate Strength will encourage women to identify themselves from Scripture rather than culture. Peggi Klubnik loves studying the Bible and teaching Bible studies. Her master's thesis from University of Houston-Clear Lake addressed childrearing in Proverbs. She holds a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary. After teaching Bible studies, speaking at retreats, and teaching women's courses at College of Biblical Studies, she taught Bible college courses in Russia and Ukraine. Peggi has written Bible studies on The Role of Women, Ruth, Esther, Biblical Childrearing, and Proverbs 31. She hosted a radio talk show with her husband. Peggi has two sons and seven grandchildren. Prophetic Redemption is a murder mystery delving into the world of good versus evil set within the guidelines of Ephesians 6:12: "For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places." Charlie is a legendary police officer who transfers from the Detroit Police Department to a small sheriff's department in northern Michigan where he meets a young apprentice officer named Paul. While on the trail of the person responsible for killing his wife and son, Charlie finds a renewed sense of spirit and purpose as he establishes a strong Christian bond with Paul and his family. When Charlie is murdered, Paul must deal with his own grief, and find a way to decipher the only two clues left behind. Through Scripture and prayer, Paul races against time to find the murderer before the murderer realizes the special gift Paul has been given to reverse the sequence of events set in motion. Paul finds out how powerful a single prayer from a fallen friend and faithful Christian can change the lives of many while experiencing an amazing turn of events when his own prayer is answered. This spine-tingling thriller will capture your attention from start to finish, weaving a story of suspense, adventure, mystery, spirituality, and life changing lessons. Graduated from Liberty University with a Bachelor of Science in Religion. I spent four years in the United States Air Force and retired from the United States Postal Service as a Postmaster. After watching "Passion of the Christ," I was inspired to write the completed version of "Prophetic Redemption." The goal of this book is threefold; provide entertainment to a world seeking to be captivated, sow the seeds for salvation throughout the storyline, and share the tenets of the Christian faith: love, grace, mercy, forgiveness, and compassion. What a world we would live in, if everyone simply lived in love, grace, mercy, forgiveness, and compassion. Even if the reader does not accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior, living the true principles of the Christian faith could change the world. To get a personalized copy of the book, please go to www.propheticredemption.com. I pray this Christian murder mystery will cross many genres with positive world changing messages within the plot.

Everyone faces challenges, but how do we get through them? I did not realize where my mother's strength came from, but I had a revelation and then wondered, "Why did she have to go through so much?" My family and friends prayed desperately that God would heal her. But I was not sure we got what we asked for. Was it worth it? Did God forget about us? Was all hope lost? Let me share my story and then you decide. Dr. Corinne A. Macon is the daughter of Mr. Gunsalla and Mrs. Florence Beatrice (Grimes) Macon. I was born and raised in KY. When I was eleven my family moved to CA and made numerous trips back and forth until I finally made the decision to plant my roots in CA to this present day. I attended a church from the day I was born that my grandfather pastored and where my father was a missionary. I grew up serving the church where ever I attended and still do today in a church in CA where I have co-pastored with my present husband since 2009. I have a saying that I'm not religious I just love the Lord. You'll see in this book how I lived for years hiding so much anger, hurt and abuse until a pastor's wife counseled me to share it with others. That's how this book was born. Writing and reading it has helped me heal and gave me part of my testimony. I lived a very sheltered good life within the walls of the church until I got married the first time. It was then that I learned how the other side of the world lived. Within the first three months of marriage I learned how an addict behaves and for the next seventeen years engulfed destruction and abuse. My book shares how much torment one life can bring to so many others as well as the scars left behind. But through the years I also learned how to run into the arms of Jesus and to trust Him completely. He blessed me with a great voice and I started using it at the tender age of three and I still use it now to worship Him. To date I have wrote quite a few songs, including; "The Painter" & "God's Already Done What He said He Would Do." I cannot leave out there were seven beautiful children that went through these years with me and it was only because of God, them and my family that pulled us through. This book takes you on that journey with us of what we experienced and the moment our escape route came into play.

Readers of this verse-by-verse expository commentary will benefit from: - Recognizing Daniel as the authentic writer who faithfully served Jehovah God during seventy years of captivity. - Developing a proper method of interpretation for Old Testament prophecy. - Understanding the Vision of Seventy Weeks found in Daniel 9. - Identifying God's prophetic plan for believers and unbelievers for the times in which we live. What is the point of an annotated bibliography on ecclesiology? It is difficult these days to keep up with the changes in church activity throughout the world. Whole movements have arisen and gained momentum before many of us have noticed. It is even more difficult, in fact impossible, to keep up with all the literature about the church. If seasoned scholars have difficulty keeping up, how can the interested non-scholar become informed? This book is a review of some of the scholarly and popular literature about the church that has been written to date and will enable the student of ecclesiology to find the writings that are most relevant to him or her and to be aware of the rest. Stephen P. Ansley resides in Riverside, California where he has served as a non-staff teacher at a community church for many years. He has a special interest in ecclesiology, leanings toward non-structural ecumenism, and a passion for the mission of the church.
