Level Chinese Early Literacy offering provides a structured and systematic approach to teaching the most commonly used Chinese character to new learners. Our offering teaches characters through story-telling and themes that are familiar to young learners. Level Chinese provides two unique Early Literacy offerings – 1) book series and 2) assessment and tracking system.

These books are part of Level Chinese reading curriculum for both literature and informational text with emphasis on grammar and comprehension skills. Teachers can use these books to differentiate the skill levels of each student and help them improve their reading proficiency. Text complexity is based on leveling standards set by Level Chinese.
