A Century of Poems

Much has been written about the Art of Nursing but seldom seen is a book of poetry on the subject. Gathered from a number of archival sources by VGH Nurses Alumni Member Madeleine McNeil to commemorate the 100th Anniversary in 2020, this collection gives us glimpses from a variety of personal experiences throughout the span of a century: to students learning the art, graduates honing their skills, and patients receiving care along with comments from a variety of observers of the art. This is a unique and lasting tribute to nursing from the voices of those it has touched.
