There, He Was Renowned As ""One Of Courtly Manners, Chivalric Bearing, The Purest Pilgrim Blood, A Man Of A True Public Spirit."" He Quit His Ministry In 1801 For Health Reasons, And Moved To Boston, Where He Seems To Have Carried On An Active Life. He Worked, In Turn, As Clerk Of The Supreme Court Of Boston, As Secretary Of State, And As A Bookseller And Journalist.
