A Witch's Destiny

The last thing I ever thought I'd be doing with my life was wielding magic against an ancient power set on destroying us all. Not the career plan I had picked for myself, but here I am. Now, I'm jet-setting to the farthest corners of the Earth in search of a power bigger than the one locked inside me. Something strong enough to use against the forces that threatens to wipe out the existence of werewolves-and me with them. What I need is a partner. Someone to watch my back. Unfortunately, my first choice has abandoned me. Alex knows I'm the only one who can save him, but he's too worried about my magic hurting me. Oh, the irony. Apparently, he'd rather die than cause me pain-and he plans to do just that.
