Adventures on Cowskin Creek

These stories feature Charlie Simmons, a twelve-year-old living in the 1950's. There was not the parental supervision we live with today. Children had freedom to go where they wanted and play with their friends. Charlie and his friends did not take advantage of this freedom, yet found themselves in strange and sometimes dangerous situations. Yet, they always seem to come out just fine. The stories illustrate the character of Charlie and the influence he had on his friends.
