Adversaria

The notes of English classical scholar Peter Paul Dobree (1782-1825) are collected in this two-volume edition of Adversaria. Volume 2 (1833) includes Dobree's notes on Greek writers - including Sophocles, Aeschylus, and Aristophanes - as well as his comments on such major Latin authors as Cicero, Livy, and Horace.
