I had the privilege of being a student under the guidance of Dr. Yves Déjean, who taught me Haïtian Creole. As a Drama major and Linguistics minor, I can attest that his teaching method is exceptional. Back in 1985, while studying under the tutelage of the renowned Haitian linguist Dr. Yves Déjean at the Bank Street College of Education in New York, I authored a concise grammar guide. I subsequently shared complimentary copies of the book with all my Kreyòl pupils.
