Alien on the Stoop

A young family with adopted adolescent twins, Anne and Andrew, are on their way to Sedona to visit with their grandfather.Andrew is worried that Grandpa won't love him and Anne in the same way, now that their Mama is expecting a new baby. While visiting with grandpa, Andrew befriends the neighborhood cat named Alien. When Andrew asks why he is called Alien, grandpa responds with, "Because he is one."Grandpa thinks that, because once a year on the same day, Alien, the cat disappears into the red rock mountains.
