They are killed by the thousands every year, and - even though current research says lethal control is unreliable and in excess - their blood keeps spilling. Why? This book takes a deep dive into the history of Canis latrans in North America in the context of environmental policy, ecological research, and environmental ethics to uncover the ideology behind America's war on coyotes.
