Saint Michael’s sword is found at the foot of the bed. There is a heavenly angel held prisoner in the lowest depths of hell. The angel Ariel is the key that will unlock heaven’s gate. Eric, a mortal, is conscripted to find her and take her from the depths of her prison to the heights of salvation. In the process of getting her there, he is embroiled in a war that has pitted the angels of both heaven and hell against each other. Eric takes a journey through the afterlife that threatens to destroy him. It will either save him and all of creation or destroy him. Will Eric complete his mission and arrive in the land of salvation, or will he fail and be imprisoned in the fields of death and torment?
