April's Hope Vol 1

April a young, gorgeous Afro-American woman from the ghetto falls in love with Manny a handsome white boy while attending the same high school. Manny invites her to the senior prom, but on his way to pick her up a tragedy happens to him preventing them from attending. During her college years she discovers her bisexual side, and after marriage to Manny and two miscarriages is coxed into going to an alternative lifestyle party to perk up their sex life, suggesting it may help her in getting pregnant once again. They attend a trial meeting finding it added excitement to an already boring sex life. her beautiful daughter Candy is born, the apple in Manny's eye. She attends college and April fares she may have the same experience she had with Sally, her roommate, during her college years discovering she inherited a bisexual nature. April has kept her secret of being a bisexual woman and another secret from her Candy until the end of Volume one, but she only shows one of her secrets in Volume one.
