Back to the Postindustrial Future

The first comprehensive ethnography of the future, approaching Hoyerswerda, Germany's fastest shrinking city, not from the perspective of its past, but persistently from that of its future. Through an extensive ethnography of the city, it allows us to investigate the postindustrial era and the futures it has supposedly lost.
