Beatitudes Are Attitudes

There are so many things that happened when Christ Jesus gave his Sermon on the Mount. People came from all around to hear the word of God. Imagine what it must have been like as the Lord Jesus himself spoke before the people!

One very exciting thing that came from this sermon are the eight beatitudes. These eight beatitudes tell us how to live in a way that is right, just and holy. If everyone lived according to these eight beatitudes, there would be no more hunger or thirst on this earth, and everyone would be fed, clothed, warm and housed. There would be no more homeless people. War and greed would be a thing of the past.
