A militant food activist group is willing to do anything to expose product purchase manipulation forced by supermarkets onto their customers. Will their efforts be in vein as the public deem them terrorists or will they be seen as fighting for the rights of the everyday shopper? But everything changes when the opening ceremony of London's premier food show is thrown into chaos as a gunman shoots his way onto the main stage. A short while later, a celebrity chef's lifeless body is found hanging in a kitchen. The blame is laid at the feet of the food activist group. The police brand them a danger to life.
As UK' supermarkets and the nation's celebrity chefs buckle under the continued attacks, the whole fabric of the world in which they operate in is being forced towards collapse. Can they both still function and inspire their customer's culinary dreams as the attacks intensify and their empires crumble?
Chief Inspector Borage is tasked with apprehending the activist group under an increasing media spotlight. Even with all the resources of the Metropolitan police available to him he seems to be thwarted at every turn. Can he bring them to justice before it is too late?
