One of the most striking aspects of abbé d'Aubignac's fictional output is that the principal focus of his work is women. D'Aubignac's attempt to articulate his philosophy about the female sex is very much an intricate balancing act. Bei der Betrachtung der mündlich erzählten Lebensgeschichte möchte ich mich auf den Roman ¿Grande Sertão: Veredas¿ von Guimarães Rosa beziehen, der einer der Ersten war, der diese Form des Erzählens in dieser Ausprägung für sich fand.Nach einem kurzen geschichtlichen Überblick über die Haupttendenzen bei der Entwicklung einer ¿brasilianischen¿ Literatur konzentriere ich mich besonders auf den Aspekt der Oralisierung der brasilianischen Literatur, die ihre Perfektion möglicherweise in Form der ¿mündlich erzählten Lebensgeschichte¿ fand.
