Cambria Depicta

First published in 1816, this lively and informative narrative of a walking tour of North Wales was written and illustrated by Edward Pugh (1763-1813). It was unique in the Romantic period as the work of a native Welsh speaker with an intimate knowledge of the people and culture of the region.
