Chaff and the Grain

Melanie's marriage to Donald Stone had broken down. Even worse, Donald was now living with her friend, Clare Marlowe.
Although Melanie had become the successful owner of an art gallery, her sad past was never completely erased from her mind.
Her relationships with friends and family cools and an intrusive fear enters the life of this ice-maiden. Violence creeps up on her, and who can she really trust?
Eventually, as in the Arabian proverb, she had to decide whether she can sift the chaff and the grain and keep what is worth keeping.

Roy Rees has already written a book of short stories, and this is his second published novel.
After being in the senior echelons of the Army and then City underwriting, he is now retired and lives at Kew in Surrey.
Apart from his civilian and military qualifications, he also holds a Law degree.
