Consider This Character Study

In this poetry collection "Consider This Character Study", the reader will experience both true and semifictional story-tellings of people encountered and observed by the author, Perry E. Holmes, as well as reflections of herself and her various states of mind and body. Inspired by personal experiences, these poems explore all areas of the psyche, pleasures and discomforts alike. The book is organized into four parts (You, Me, Us, and Them) intended to guide the reader to visualize each poem from the "Me" perspective, as if the reader themselves were the writer. This book is recommended for a mature audience as it at times contains serious themes.
