The Crocodile hasn't been sighted in years - like pirates, Lost Boys, and the legendary Pan, it's a relic of the days when Neverland was wild and untamed. It's a new world since the corporations came to the island, and there's no room for monsters in the Everland of 1951. But a case is a case, and a private detective - even an ex-pirate - can't afford to be choosy. And there's something suspicious going on at Hawthorne Logging. Missing surveyors, fallen stars, and an inquisitive engineer are bad enough, but the most dangerous thing of all? The Crocodile might still be around after all.
