Czech Refugees in Cold War Canada

During the Cold War, more than 36,000 people entering Canada claimed Czechoslovakia as their country of citizenship. A defining characteristic of these migrants was the prevalence of anti-communist values. This book explores how these newcomers formed organisations to attempt to affect developments in Czechoslovakia and Canadian foreign policy.
