Bag om David Apricot

This is a collection of the best work done in 2023 by David Apricot, a raising star in the graphic arts scene in Australia. The collection contains what is hands down the best generative AI work being done out there - maybe anywhere in the world. The fact that the work often looks like hand-drawn paintings or having been made with traditional artist techniques is a testament to the artist's determination to avoid labels about process and focus on the content. David Apricot is primarily an Expressionist, but is also deeply interested in the abstractions and decorative pattern of his Australian heritage. Not being aboriginal, he avoids explicit aboriginal symbolism (the rainbow serpent, secret churinga stones, and the like) but feels free to take inspiration from contemporary Australian Aboriginal masters such as the great Ronnie Tjampitjinpa and Judy Napangardi Watson.Note that because these works are entirely digital, a sampling of them is available as NFTs. Information about buying those works is discussed in the book. These works are also available for purchase through print-on-demand technology, or even as signed, collectable art prints. Please contact the artist for more details.
