De Inventione

De Inventione est opus litterarum a Marco Tullio Cicerone compositum. In hoc libro, Cicero tradit principia rhetoricae et oratoriae, quae sunt necessaria ad bene loquendum et scribendum. De Inventione est divisa in duos libros, quorum primus tractat de inventione argumentorum et locorum communium, secundus autem de elocutione et pronuntiatione. In hoc opere, Cicero docet quomodo orator potest persuadere et movere animos audientium, et quomodo potest effugere fallacias et sophismata. De Inventione est opus fundamentale in historia rhetoricae et oratoriae, et usque ad hodiernum diem est studiatum et laudatum a multis.But of the considerations which belong to things, some are connected with the thing itself which is the subject of discussion; some are considered in the performance of the thing; some are united with the thing itself; some follow in the accomplishment of the thing.
