Dead Reckoning

When he finds local prostitute, Alice Goode, dead, jockey Harry is forced to turn reluctant sleuth. The prime suspect is ex-con Jake Smith and he is determined that Harry tracks down the real killer, yet it becomes clear that someone else is equally determined to stop him finding out the truth.
