Bag om Did You Know Thierry?
Do you feel that the life that you are living is not what is intended for you? Have you thought about why you are even here? This book might just be what you need to help you find those answers. Are you or someone you love facing a life-threatening illness? This story could be here to encourage and enlighten you as you walk this road. There is also a website to give direction and help. Did You Know Thierry? is a chronicle of one man's journey from being a (self-proclaimed) self-centered rogue to (what others call) a people-loving, devout Christian who told everyone he met about his new-found relationship with his friend, Jesus. Thierry admitted at one point that he was running from God. After some soon-to-be friends told him about Jesus, Thierry realized his need for Christ. It was a few years later that he was diagnosed with a glioblastoma multiforme grade IV brain tumor. How could this happen to a healthy guy in his prime that was considered brilliant? Yet from that day forward, he used his opportunities to tell everyone about his friend, Jesus. There are surely very many people who can accurately be described as tenacious, but Thierry was that and more. He has been described as "being on a tear" and "living life to the hilt." He became even more intense after his diagnosis and right up until the end of his life. Do you realize how your life could influence others in the long run? I don't think Thierry really did, yet this book contains numerous accounts from his family, friends, and co-workers detailing Thierry's lasting influence on them. His father, Gene, even entered into the ministry after Thierry's passing. His children are each a great testament to him. His existence and what he did with that existence greatly affected the people around him and others that he met. Many of these people still remember his compassion for them, and a love that caused him to ask them uncomfortable questions about their salvation. But Thierry cared about them so much that the uncomfortable questions simply had to be asked. We are all here for a purpose. Do you know your purpose?
